Whats for Dinner

Great idea. There are WAY too many chains in the area.

Yummy slow smoked pork-ribs finished on the grill w/ home-made sauce tonight. Watermelon, potato salad, chips, popsicles, ice tea, soda, and beer...hmmmmm I believe a ROCK STAR is dropping in to wish her dear ole daddy a happy father's day! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Tonight I'll be grilling some angus burgers and corn on the cob. A nice, simple meal :)

...and my new spices I bought in France...oh what those are in my lost piece of luggage.

Yummmmmm. How did I EVER miss this post -- grilling-obsessed summer food freak that I am!?! What are they and please tell us that they aren't still missing in that limbo-land of missing luggage.

Got home from work last night to find a rack of babyback ribs, two ribeyes, and a package of chicken in the fridge! :cool1: Not sure which one yet, but something is hitting the grill tonght!:thumbsup2

If you do want good Italian, there is a place called Bruno's on 192 west of Disney (near where Freedom resort used to be). Great place for real Italian :thumbsup2
I've gotta do a little research but I'm thinkin' Bruno's may have been mentioned in one of my myriad WDW and Orlando guidebooks...

Anybody got a suggestions for really yummy Greek or other Mediterranean food within reasonable cab fare distance from WDW? Morocco @ Epcot is great -- but I'm talking dish-breakin', retsina-guzzlin', olive-pit spittin' REAL food.

The only Greek restaurants I can find in Orlando are near Downtown, not exactly close to Disney...

The Greek Corner Restaurant (407) 228-3030 1600 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL
Cafe Annie (407) 420-4041 131 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL
Eva's Tiramisu Cafe (407) 228-0303 1600 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL

Cedar's Restaurant is supposed to be a great middle-eastern restaurant, but I havent tried it. It's phone and address are: 407-351-6000 7732 W Sand Lake Rd Orlando, FL 32819

Decent ethnic food is a very hard thing to find near Diseny......:sad2:

The best Greek is going to be in Ybor City. A little far for a cab drive though. :guilty:
