Hi everyone

I just listed tons o' stuff trying to scrape up some cash for this spur of the moment trip. Send pixie dust my way for bids! I tried to price everything cheap this time to MOVE IT!

I stupidly listed about 50 auctions in the wrong category so now I'm going back through changing them, ugh.

Mostly I've been selling Gymboree clothes & accessories, kids Disney clothes, some software & misc house stuff.

Is anybody noticing a slow down in sales? I listed a few things CHEAP and am shocked what's not getting bid.. or is getting just one bid. I have a disney package worth $$$$$$$ I am selling the whole thing for $5. Not one bid. I just don't understand. My photo quality is awful maybe that's why?

I am always slow to start with. But it gets better during the week. I have over 200 things listed right now. From high end smaller size clothing that is my sisters to 25th anniversary WDW shirt to tons of baby and childrens clothes. Most of my stuff I do free shipping with Buy it Now and that is in US & Canada and Best offer. Look at what I got

I noticed that you only ship via priority and that's pretty expensive. Maybe you could offer parcel post shipping or even UPS. I ship big boxes full of stuff to my sis in MI (same shipping zone as you) and it's not very expensive via UPS ground or even PP.

Sales were really slow for me last week and the week before. I know it was due to July 4th though and especially the way it fell this year! Monday things picked up real fast!

I think it might have alot to do with your pictures too though as you stated. I only opened the first one, lot of stuffed animals with boo, pooh, etc. It was hard to tell what you were getting. I really think pictures make a huge difference! Good luck! Things are getting back in the swing of things around her so hopefully for you too!

After you sell the item, what do you do? Do you email the winners a personal email? Do you include a note with the item? Do you just receive the money and mail it?

I'll be listing some plus size clothing over the weekend. I've been toying with the idea of buying at yard sales and thrift stores for resale, since there seems to be a market for plus size items. I've done very well with the items that I've listed previously. Does anyone else sell plus-size?

I don't have anything up right now (my auctions ended today) but I usually list Avon stuff, some Disney stuff, clothes, Signed 1st Edition Mystery books and whatever else I find. I'll be going away next week and then moving but I'll be back up and selling in the beginning of August sometime.

They'll automatically receive an invoice from ebay. If I don't have a shipping amount set then I figure shipping and send an invoice via ebay again. Upon payment I send a personal note along with the ship date. In my packages there is a short note saying thanks, please contact me if there is a problem and my info. If they are sending a money order I let them know I'll contact them upon the payment arriving so they know I got it and again when I'll ship. One of my biggest annoyances is not knowing when a person shipped my item, those are usually the ones where it has been 2-3 weeks and no item still.
