Hi - i'm new to ebay - i just sold my 1st item - my question is if i list the items for 7 days and the don't sell, do you list them again or just sell them at a yard sale or donate them? i mean because you are loosing money if they don't sell and you list them.

Just curious how long you continue to list!

Hi Lisa - I can't remember the percentage ebay takes - it is a sliding scale based on final ending price. If you log into My Ebay and go to your seller profile, you can view your account and see the exact fee you were charged.

As for re-listing items, if it is something I think might sell later, I'll put it away and re-list it at a later date. If it's something I wasn't sure about selling (price wise), I'd probably just give it away (or keep it! though I'm trying to get away from that!).

Relisting: I had some exclusive Disney pins. I listed one and it didn't sell. I relisted it and it still didn't sell. I took it down and then waited a while. Saw a couple others listed (one sold well and the other had a pretty high starting price, and never sold). I relisted mine, plus listed a second one. The first one ended on Saturday and the second ended last night. I started them at $4.95 and sold at $17 and $20 respectively.

It was definitely worth it for me to relist. But I think it depends on the item. I knew that Disney pins, especially exclusives, would sell when the time was right, so I just waited a bit and put them back up. I feel it was worth it given what they eventually sold at.
