What does everyone listen to while the show is on Christmas break?

Do you go back and listen to old shows? Other podcasts? Nothing?

I had all intentions of listening to old DIS podcasts, Maybe even do my year in review and listen to 2015 again, but I got sidetracked...
A girl from work told me about Serial (I was living in a podcast bubble) so I gave that a listen... And finished the first season in about 4.5 days (I did a lot of driving last weekend)
So now I'm listening to undisclosed, which is keeping me interested.
I do want to go back and listen to the DIS from the start though, so I might catch up on undisclosed and then do 2015 and then back to 2006? Or maybe just go straight back to 2006

So, what are you listening to?
Have you gone back and listened to all of the DISunplugged before?

Right now I'm caught up in Christmas baking . . . 4 Christmas cookie batches baked today. Yaay! I think I'm going to go cold turkey with the shows (nasty, I know) until the New Year. I'll miss the audio podcast on Dec.29 (with family) so will save it as a treat for the New Year. Off the Boards, I'm just getting into Doctor Who on TV. Loving the Peter Capaldi Doctor and PVR'ing old episodes and watching them in the evenings. I've definitely plunged into geekdom with this show. But its fun & kind of smart. Of course, I'm missing all the back story and decades worth of character references but I'll figure it out eventually! Merry Christmas, Jes! ps when you get to WDW and decide to check out Trader Sams, definitely try to get a seat on the Left hand side of the room for better view of the show and drink-triggered effects. I snuck in twice in late October and enjoyed the Krakatoa Punch (with glow cube) and a Hippopotamaitai. I had to have the souvenir glasses so one is now on my bar and the other is a nifty pen holder. I lined up approx 3:15pm on a weekday (my day off from the parks) and chatted with others in line while waiting for opening at 4pm. Made some new friends who clued me into the left hand side club of the bar. Lots of fun to meet new buddies at Trader Sams. ps its a bit tricky to find the bar if you aren't a regular at the Poly (and I'm not) but some posters on the Boards gave me good directions so give me a shout when you are packing for your trip & I'll give you to info! Cheers to you in Australia! Fingers crossed for snow :santa:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Soundtrack

You mean snow here? There is precisely 0% chance of snow in Australia during Christmas. It's summer, and was 43 degrees celcius (approx. 110F) on Saturday. lol.
It's forecast to be 33 degrees (91.4) on Xmas day, which is awesome because my sister has an amazing pool!!
But if you mean snow where you are, then yes, fingers crossed. I imagine a white Christmas is wonderful as long as it's not too bad and closes roads and keeps people housebound.

It really is amazing how the team changed they first went to video and then live. I can see the chemistry and watch their reactions to each other, and sometimes see the fear in their eyes.

I'm new to the podcasts (just discovered them a few months ago, and this is actually my first post on the podcast part of the forums), so my goal for the next few weeks is to start at the beginning of 2015 and watch as many of the podcasts from this year as I can just so that I have a little more background on the team and the show going into next year. I don't know how far I'll get, but since I listen to them as background noise when I'm working, I'm hoping to get at least halfway through the year.

Welcome to the Boards! :welcome: Enjoy the archived podcasts. There are some great ones. I don't have the links handy but if you get the chance to go back a bit earlier, definitely check out some of the Kevin & John dining reviews (original Coral Reef review and also the Via Napoli opening are priceless). Also watch at least one of the prior 7 in 7 Disney Resorts reviews. I believe an all new 7 in 7 is in the works for 2016 and this should give you some background. Enjoy!

Welcome, hope you enjoy it here, we're a (mostly) friendly bunch! :jester::dogdance:

Honestly I am not one that really goes back and listens to old Podcasts.

I think my favorite from this past year though is the Boardwalk 7 in 7 where My uncle and I are in the video they have near the Pizza Window and Boardwalk Bakery. All I needed to do was turn around and I would've seen Craig or whoever else was with him filming. I was so close to meeting them and I didn't even know it.

well welcome aboard!!! We're always glad to welcome in some newbies to the Podcast group (being a relatively now poster myself I guess, <12months)
We're a pretty good bunch, we love some good sarcasm, and taking the mickey out of ourselves.

haha, mostly.
I think this section of the boards has little to no meanies in general, not regulars anyway.
I think you're all pretty great!

Coral reef, Liberty Tree Tavern and the one and only Shutters!!! these are a great place to start, they're all fall down laughing hilarious!

Thanks for the warm welcome, all!
Although ... not so much thanks for the homework. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to check out the dining reviews and 7 in 7, but ... I feel like maybe I'm going to be listening to podcasts instead of sleeping for the next few weeks. That or it will take me until well into next year to catch up.

Oh no! don't be overwhelmed.
The dining reviews are just great to listen to, definitely not something that you need to listen to to catch up or anything, but a must listen once you're familiar with the team and their senses of humour. They're definitely episodes you want to listen to in the car or at home where you can laugh out loud and no one will look at you like you're a crazy person!

I have a backlog of Universal shows to listen to. Of the collection of DIS shows, that's the one that falls lowest on my list since I've only been there once and have no plans to go back. I still listen, though, as I like hearing the news and updates. Right now, I'm on the 10/29/15 episode. I will periodically listen to the Disneyland show but I don't routinely do that.

I have a couple other Disney podcasts to listen to. Plus last year's DIS where they talk about what they're all doing for Christmas. And plenty of Christmas music. (Oh, and Stern of course!)
