I'm going to just do some housework lots of but I sure won't be hanging it out (unless I want it covered in ice!) Clean up from our party last night.... we cleaned all day for the party and now I'm not sure why. Listen to some Disney music on Live365 and just enjoy NOT going anywhere in this lousy weather. Maybe this afternoon I'll see if my Mother wants to come over and watch South Pacific- pretend we're there.

I love New Year's Day, because it's a holiday where I feel completely justified for doing absolutely nothing! DH had to work, but he's getting double pay for doing it (gotta love the Mouse!), so I am going to spend the entire day playing with my kids. I've been promising DS I'd watch all the Harry Potter movies with him, so maybe we'll do it today, since he goes back to school Wednesday.

Cleaning--my belly was in so much pain this weekend from the baby growing (stretching skin-- ) so I was on the couch or in bed for most of it. So today gotta make up for what wasn't done earlier.

The house looks like we had a party--but sadly..no fun festivities in this boring household.

My kitchen is a disaster from last night, so need to clean that today.

But other than that, all I want to do is watch the Rose Parade, spend some time on the computer, maybe take a nap this afternoon while DH is watching football. That's about it! A nice, relaxing day! Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!

At 2:00, 30 some family members will be coming home for a big ham dinner and then hours of football watching and/or games around the table. It's a crazy long day but it's fun.

My big book report is due Thursday Jan 4, and I swore I'd do it before break started to get it off my mind. Never did it. So today's also a day to do that. Maybe.

I feel totally justified in staying home, wearing pjs, watching some football, doing some dis posting and ordering take out for dinner.

One day a year should be guilt-free and fun. Heck, 365 days a year, should be guilt-free and fun.

If you live with regret or second guesses, you need to be changing what you're doing!!! Let's make 2007 a year full of endless possibilities and zero regrets.

I don't wanna go back to school but at least there's Martin Luther King Jr day soon. And we have a week of midterms, which isn't fun, but it's a week of half days!

And at least January is the glorious halfway point to summer.
