We live for Disney in 4 days. I want to be able to check email and dis when I get back but don't want to spend a million dollars. Does anyone know the cost of internet use at POP?

I am not sure they even have it. Does anyone else know the right answer, mine is an educated guess :paw:

They have ethernet ports in the rooms (at least I think I saw one when I was there last week) but you'll need to bring a laptop. I don't know what the cost was. I didn't read anything about wireless service.

We used the business center at the Yacht Club. I think it was $10 for about 15 min.

If you dial up from your room--it is the cost of a local phone call.

When we were at WL for Frances...I just plugged in and then left it on for a few hours...the cost was very minimal for dial up.

If you use dial up, there's a plug right at the table to dial in.

High speed hasn't made it there yet, nor has WiFi. The resorts that do have wireless and WiFi charge 9.95 a day. If you absolutely have to have WiFi, it looks like you can sit in the lobby at all the deluxe resorts.

Or you can go to the closest Panera Bread. I think there's one on Sand Lake Road.

However.. Make sure you ask the front desk for the CORRECT number to use for the Dial up.. I made the mistake of choosing one from my aol list and Man.. even though it had the same area code.. it was considered long distance... and WOW did those phone charges add up!!! They were really great and took them off my bill as there was no notice stating that these numbers would be considered long distance... or that they have specific numbers for you to use.. so... forewarned is .. ummm. what is that saying?? anyway.. ask them for the right number!! LOL!! Oh..and btw.. it was perfectly fine for surfing and email and stuff. .not unbearably slow...

does anyone know if BWI has wireless?

They are supposed to have it in the convention area, lobby and at the pool.
