What's cool about your state or country?

i love our snow, it gets me a week off school, mostly :') i'm literally shocked that we didn't get any in february, we ALWAYS get snow in february )':

1.No I'm not the type who pays £200+ to camp for 3 days in a muddy, overcrowded field lol

About 20 of my mates from school went last 2 years in a row and it looked like they had a good time.

2. What county do you live in?

I live in England, same as you do. Although I'm down in Kent (or London. Depends on what you're looking at).

It doesn't really snow much here. We get about 3-4 inches on average every time it snows, I guess? I've decided that if it ever snows, I'm not going into University. I'm not bothering with the trains at all...

well i live in essex. we is chavman.

i actually really like it here, though. i live in a non-pikey bit :')

but they gypsies are bloody scary ahhahahahaha

lol whats the largest amount of snow you've ever gotten, like anywhere in England?

if you want snow, move to western NY haha we get quite a bit ;)

however when it snows in England the media make it sound like a Disaster.

Yeah and sometimes they use shots of snow from a different year to make it seem worse, lol. The college I go to was closed for 3 days when it snowed (not that I'm complaining; i got a ton of work done). But the whole counrty just grinds to a halt.:rotfl2:

The whole reason it grinds to a halt is because we don't use the same methods of snow preperation and clearing as other countries. Although that's mainly because we don't get as much snow as those countries, so the equipment wouldn't be in use most of the year, which is a waste of money overall.

the lone star state has some of the best bbq around. (not that i eat it:lmao:) And the rodeo rocks.

Grit always runs out lol then the media blame it on the German company who provide the grit however its our governments fault for not being prepared enough.

What's the best thing about Texas? Utah has the greatest snow on earth... But I've never gone skiing or snow boarding... I don't know why...:confused3

Most people say the barbeque orthers say how big the chicken and stuff are. and people who don't mind partially green waters from the gulf say swimming. i guess i like that almost all year long its kinda warm.

Is everything really bigger in Texas?

Would going into London Bridge station count? Because if so, then practically every day! If not, then I have no idea. The last time I actually went into the city of London (and not Westminster, or Greewich, or Southwark, and so on) was a few weeks ago, because I left my lectures really early. I would say less than once a month.

It is confusing... Uhm, did you see that giant spider thing Liverpool had when it was the City of Culture?

Yep I did. :')

You quoted me in this post so I think this is for me haha. I live in Merseyside.

what's your favorite thing about living in North Carolina?

I live in Maryland. (well, for most of the year, lol).

Either the weather or the "tradition". We've got the perfect weather- which actually includes all four seasons (; Our Winter, Fall, Summer, and Spring *usually* all last the same amount of time. Which is pretty amazing. So we get snowy winters and hot summers. I love the tradition and history here. Tradition because... that's a big thing around here. And History, because you wouldn't really think that we'd be a very historic state, but we are.

Do you have giant cows?

London baby :cool1:

Uhm. London... uhm... I dunno xD Is it cool living in the most popular city in England?

It's.. irritating? Literally everywhere you go there are tourists and you cannot escape. Plus, and this is just me, i'm so short that I get bashed about quite a bit on the Underground :sad1:. But I do like saying I live there xD.

So, give me a mini history lesson! What's your favourite bit of history about North Carolina?

I hate tourists xD It's worse when they're all drunk redneck NASCAR fans, trust me (;

Hmm... NC is the first in flight! I think it's pretty cool that we were the first anywhere in the world to fly (: Ohhh, I do like the Gold Rush too. We had the first gold rush in America... then California had to discover gold and take it all away from us xD

Underground? What's that?

Darn those thieving Californians! xD

It's the subway basically. But ours tracks are further underground compared to yours. I think :confused3

I get confused by this so if it's wrong, I'm sorry.
I don't see anyone to answer questions to so..

I live in England innit. ;D
