My crockpot has a roast, potatos, onions and stewed tomatos going right now. The smell is to die for. What's in your crockpot or slowcooker right now?

nothing. we are having junk for dinner tonight. i am making nachos. beef, cheese, sour cream, and chips. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm getting hungry just thinking about it.
but if you have any leftovers you are more than welcome to send them my way. that sounds good!

not using one of those - but I am trying one of pumba's receipes today - sticky chicken - it is slow cooking in the oven - and smelling yummy too

I do not cook on Saturdays...it is either the Mexican Restauarant or the Chinese One.....either way I will be a happy camper....oh wait....maybe I want some fried clams instead......Oy the choices....tomorrow is home made spaghetti sauce and then lasagna and tossed salad and garlic bread......but for today.....my day not to really cook........thanks marla ......hope you like the chicken

a Prime Rib in the oven. Chris made a chocolate cake and lemon squares! There goes the diet!

Nothing, I am going to a surprise BD party for my cousin. get this, I stay in every weekend and tonight I am going to this party and it is FREEZING here in Boston. :(

Well, it was going to be butterfly pork chops but I was detained with DS8 at the doctor and pharmacy. So, they didn't get put on. I'll throw them in tomorrow morning because I know if they go in the oven, they won't be nearly as tender as the crock pot. Tonight?? Hmm, maybe a quick carryout meal.

Nothing in my crockpot today but I do have a turkey in the oven. :)

We are snowed in - up to a foot between last night and Monday is predicted - I thought chili and homemade French bread rolls would be good. Both are nearly done now - with a fire in the fireplace and the aroma of the food - it's nice and cozy. We're going to put on a Disney movie soon, too!

Wish all of you central Ohio DISer's could come!

I had planned on having our Keys dinner tonight - seafood buffet style, music by Rocketman the Pirate, and our Hawaiian shirts - but I forgot to pick up fried clams and Key lime pie! The boys said it wouldn't be the same without the clams and Key Lime pie.

I'm cooking a roadt, pototoes, and carrots in the oven. it's smell really good.

Not using the crock today....

Roast beef slices & gravy in the skillet. We're also having mashed potatoes, green beans, buttermilk bisquits and angel food cake for dessert.

We are having a freezing rain here with snow to follow. It's supposed to be the big one!!

Eye of round Steak, w/cooking sheery, onion soup mix and crm mush soup. The gravy is to die for and have Pane Italian bread to sop that up with! DD is at the mall w/her BF...celebrating her good news on the growth results.....I wish they would get back so we can eat! The smell is driving me crazy!

Nothing in the crock pot today - I'm making homemade pizza:)

cgcw - I would like your recipe for pork chops in the crockpot. I have some in the frig that I need to cook and I would rather cook it in the crockpot if I knew how.

We registered for and received a crockpot for our wedding in June 2000 and we've NEVER used it! Recently, we both a cockpot cookbook, but still haven't used it! We're both in school and we both work, so we just really don't have the time to prepare it. Guess I have to make time...everything y'all are cooking sounds great! We eat out a lot...WAY too much...but I'm sure that'll change after the baby arrives in July!

I'm going to a Birthday party tonight....my friend's boyfriend is cooking...maybe I should eat before I go! ;)

Nathan's Hot Dogs on the grill.....MMMMMMMM.....:D

Congrates on the baby!!!!!

We didn't get one for our wedding (almost 10 years ago now :D ) But I just got one for Christmas and I love it. I also got a new cook book, fix it and forget. It takes a little planning, but is much easier and great for people who go to school or are busy. I love it because I can fix it while my 23 month old is eating breakfeast and in a good mood and not have to bother with dinner at 5:00 when she is fusy and wants my full attention. This has made my life MUCH easier.

My only problem is when the smells start driffing my way, I want to eat then and I have to wait all day!!! My fav is chuck roast with veggies a can of cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and some flour with seasoning to make gravy!!! (some beef broth too helps!!!!) So good we never have any leftovers. Can't get the hang of chicken yet, always ends up dry.

Pork shoulder for BBQ sandwiches!! Ummmm! And not two hours ago I bought a Smart Pot!! 6QT and a divided crock, I can't wait to use it!

cinlee3,

I just sent you a PM.
