What's better...Chef Mickey's dinner or Crystal Palace dinner?

If characters had nothing to do with your decision, going totally on the quality of food, which would you pick?

We've eaten at both but it was so long ago, they changed the menues.

My family prefers Chef Mickey's, we have found the food to be hit or miss at Crystal Palace, sometimes we enjoy it, sometimes we don't.

We've eaten at both...during each trip, we always have 2 dinners at Chef Mickey's .....love it!! DS8 loves the prime rib...

Going back May 13 & May 18....
also 2 more times in August....

I would say chef mickeys is more popular for dinner than crystal palace. Seems like a lot of people do cp for b-fast.

You know, I just looked on allears at the menus at both of these restaurants, and CP seems to have a lot more to choose from. Is this right or do you think it is just that she doesn't have everything listed for CM?

They're both about the same to be honest. Some days one has more deluxe items, some days the other. Some days one is better prepared than the other.
Some days you get better service at one, sometimes the other.
Some days one is cleaner, some days the other.

I personally like Crystal Palace better. The food in both places is similar, but I have found in every time we went to CP, the food was fresh and replenished frequently while at Chef Mickeys, the food was out for a long time and it was like pulling teeth to get fresh food out. The same for the desserts.

Crystal Palace is one of our faves. It there everytime we go. CM is okay, but like the breakfast there better than dinner.

We did both on our last trip in 2005 and I personally liked the food at Crystal Palace better. They seemed to have more of a selection. My DH and DS preferred Chef Mickeys though. So it looks like we'll be doing Chef Mickeys again on our upcoming trip.

I made ADRs for both on my free dining trip. We ate at CP for dinner last week and I can't imagine missing it this time around. It was our favorite TS experience of the trip. I heard so many good reviews about CM though, that I decided to try it too.

I agree. Since they changed chefs at Crystal Palace, I have found its food much better and more interesting than Chef Mickey's somewhat standard fare.

Wow! Seems like a lot more people prefer CP's food.

My family loves all the Disney characters, so it doesn't matter much which ones we see. How can you NOT love them all!!!

We enjoyed Crystal Palace food more than Chef Mickey's. Both are equally entertaining. We did not like all the birds flying over us though at Chef Mickeys.

CP wins hands down. Food and service are 100 times better than CM

The food at Chef Mickey's for dinner left a lot to be desired. Breakfast at CP was better than dinner. My husband said he would have been seriously upset if we had paid OOP the over $100 for dinner at Chef Mickeys. It was the only restaurant we went to during the last dining promotion that got that reaction. The food was bad but we celebrated my son's birthday there and we have a very cute picture of Minnie giving him a kiss

The food at Crystal Palace is much better than at Chef Mickeys, I thought it was delicious. We also like the atmosphere better. It is large and open and fun. The characters come around often.

We disliked the food at Chef Mickeys and we thought it was a smaller, hectic room. It was nice to see Mickey though.
