We are going to Disney next week for the first time. We are all so excited. We purchased one AP to get cheaper resort rates. We were told sometimes the resorts make you go to a park to validate your pass before you can check in. I hate the idea of having to hop on the transportation, get the pass validated, and then head back while others are waiting for us to return (or taking everyone along). Has anyone had any troubles like this or were you able to check in to the resort without having your AP validated? We'll be staying at the POR.

I've heard of people showing their vouchers with no problem. You can also stop by DTD on the way to your resort if you want and activate it there.

Very often they will put a note on the computer record and ask you to stop by the front desk within a few days and show the AP. As long as you do that, everything be be fine. If you do not show them the AP they will then adjust the rate to RACK!

I have used my AP for room discounts many times in the past. As long as you have the voucher and show it at check-in, you will have no problems. The CMs are very understanding in this matter and do not expect you to run to a park to exchange your voucher before check-in. After you exchange your voucher, you can always stop back by check-in and show them the actual pass.
