What's at the back behind your back garden?

I'm assuming by garden you mean back yard. Right now it's 36 acres of undeveloped land. This time next year it will be 2 houses on acre lots.

White Cat, in the UK the back yard is the garden while in the US, the garden is a section of the back yard dug up for vegetable plants.

I have an empty lot between the back of mine and the back of the neighbor for access to the places on the other street. I'm in a mobile park where my place is long ways facing the road with all my neighbors on that road is the same orientation.

I'm in the corner lot and the other road everyone is lined up the side of the structure faces the road and they are closer together. So I have both front and side frontage along the road and the one behind me is opposite direction and our back doors face each other with an empty lot between us.

I have a lot more yard, but also a lot more mowing because the neighbor above me and I split taking care of it. I may stop because we are owned by a faceless corporation now who has done nothing but skyrocketed our living costs as they don't care. It's not part of the lot I pay rent for so why should I mow it?

All woods. We were fortunate enough to buy the land behind us to the road so that nobody would ever be able to build behind us. So now we have about 2 1/2 acres with frontage on 2 sides.

hundreds of acres of land, a 'small' portion which while maintained is rough and isolated enough that elk and deer like to pass through it, a pond that draws geese, ducks and the occasional moose that enjoys eating and relaxing in my yard. this is adjacent to hundreds of miles of farm land that i enjoy watching change colors with the rotating crops.

Woods (a nature preserve). When our daughter was small, she once solemnly warned us that there were “lions and tigers and bears in there” (spoiler: it’s pretty much just deer).

Typically a bit more water in there depending on the season. Right now it's running pretty good. Then behind that is farm land.

There is a farm behind us so right now it's an empty field and a pond. They used to have cows there (which I loved) but they stopped doing that. They tried to sell it to a developer to put more houses but our county has some sort of ordinance that you can only have x amount of subdivisions within a certain area and we have ours and one across the street so nothing can go there. Had they put the development in, we intended to buy an acre behind us so there would be no one right behind us.

I live in a townhouse community. Our house has a deck in back, then there is an alley, then the deck on back of the home across the alley. No garden or yard. And (to answer your other questions, not that the OP ever comes back to ANY threads he starts) I have no idea how many kids or animals live on my street, it runs for many blocks
