What's a really good drink to get at Artist's Point?

Not real sure about AP, but I know the Territory Lounge in WL has a yummy Chocolate Mudslide Martini!!!!!!!:cool1:

We like the wine list at AP. Usually we go with what is suggested for the particular course we are getting.

Yeah, I was going to suggest the wine list, too.

Pacific Northwest wines are fantastic!!!

2003 Spring Valley Uriah - a cabernet based wine from Washington. Absolutely fabulous and went great with both the filet and the buffalo steak

I personally love the Lodge Fiz. It's got cranberry juice, 7 up, vodka and one other thing that I can't remember.

Go with the Rock Block Zin. It's expensive but is really, really good.

I would have my drink at the bar before going in. At AP we usually get the wine pairings with dinner.

Territory Lounge has some great martinis and good beers.

Get the icewine with dessert! Even if I don't get an actual dessert, I still get it because it's so delicious.

Also, the bar uses (or they did in December '05) blue cheese-stuffed olives in the martinis. MMMMMMMMmmmm

I had a drinnk that was on the AP menu called Raspberry Falls, or something like that. I was very yummy!:thumbsup2

Just remember that they've standardized the mixed drink menus, so those drinks that were once exclusive to the WL are now probably no longer in existence. We bitterly mourn the demise of our beloved Cape May Coladas at the Beach Club.

Cheers!

The Pacific Northwest wines are excellent. I also liked the Lodge Fizz a lot!

SO aggravating.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

What is icewine, btw?

Ice wine is just about the most fantastic wine ever. It is made from grapes that have been harvested very late in the year and through a frost cycle. That concentrates the sugars in the grape tremendously and ice wine is very sweet and a bit thick. My Dstepdaughter used to say that she didn't like wine. Then we had her taste a good German ice wine. She is a convert and wants to serve it at her wedding for the toast in place of champagne.
