What's a Nebulizer?

And what's it used for? I think that's how it's spelled. Just curious. Someone I know uses one but i've not wanted to ask what it is.

It is a small machine(mini air compressor) used for breathing treatments for people with asthma and lung problems. It is used with a liquid medicine and the medicine is breathed in through the apparatus either through a mask or "pipe".
