Just thinking about things I can do with my daughter when we go to WDW and I saw this mentioned on another thread. What is a hair wrap???

What is it?
Cost?
Where can we get it done?

Thanks!!!

A hair wrap is where the take of lock of hair and wrap colored string around it - maybe adding beads or charms. My daughters did this when they were younger and loved it. You pay by the inch and number of beads they put in. It usually last a couple of weeks.

I think I remember it being around $30.

My youngest had it done last summer in AK, I believe I also saw it offered in DTD- I'm sure it is available other places.

my daughter had a hair wrap done for her in seaworld cost about $30 the trouble was by the end of our break it had faded due to all the time she spent in the pools and water parks

I think I have seen them doing this on the Boardwalk and also by the Yacht/Beach Club's pool, Stormalong Bay.

They are available at most resort pools as well as DTD. You pay by the inch and per bead and spacer. I believe they average $30.00 once the beads and such are purchased. The wrap itself is embroidery floss wrapped around a thin lock of hair. The colors do fade out from swimming so those bright colors won't stay so bright, but they are cute and last a long time--DD has had hers since July 15. While I would like to remove it she still wants it in so no biggie!
