You know you've been married a long time when you need to buy a new refrigerator for the third time
Actually I think we left one perfectly good one behind on a move to Florida once.
Bought an Amana almost 20 years ago, but want something different. Whirlpool? Frigidaire? Other? Thanks in advance.

I hadn't thought much about the freezer. We don't freeze an awful lot of food. I was more interested in the crushed ice and water in the door
I bought the original one in Sept, 2002. My 'frost free' freezer compartment kept icing up on the tower. Called service people. FIVE calls later, problem is still not fixed. I inquire about a replacement. Yes, I am told.....Frigidaire makes the arrangement with Lowes. Lowes calls and wants me to pay delivery!! I call Frigidaire back and ask why am I responsible for delivery charges. They tell me that after the initial year, they don't pay delivery! I tell them that my 3rd service call (3 strikes, you're out!) was well within my first year. I am told that I should of asked for a replacement then!!
Looks like another phone call is in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!
