What's a good BCV view to request?

Wow, great info! I do intend on calling MS/BCV but I wanted to hear some first hand experiences first.

Based on all the responses, I think I will try for a 5th floor room w/ Wetlands View as far from the service road as possible. Buy I also definitely want to check out the courtyard/arial statue view. (I wonder if this is the view where you can see Disney Studios in the distance??)

Thanks again!

I actually agree with Sammie and don't think any of the views are great enough to worry about. In fact, we originally requested upper floor, Epcot View, but I really wanted a water view, so at the last minute changed my requests. In the end, they offered me Epcot view but I turned it down and we got 4th floor with a woods view that included a path. I got nonsmoking, nonhandicapped and that's what I really wanted, so I was content. What I really wanted-To be able to sit on my patio and feed ducks in the morning didn't seem to be possible at the BCV so I quit worrying about it.

If you were on a top floor with this view, you might be able to see over the Beach Club and see some of MGM in the distance. It would be very limited though due to the Beach Club resort. From this view you are looking at the Beach Club and the courtyard in between it and the villas.

Last spring we stayed on the top floor and had an Epcot view of the nightly fireworks. We were hardly in our room during the day so the view directly out the windows was not as important to us.

The only other thing out the window was the "concrete oval" and the street behind BCV and lots of grass and trees.

I can only share with you my recent experience.

At Thanksgiving 2003, I stayed in room 308. It is a one bedroom accomodation. There is a full balcony from the living room, and no balcony at the bedroom. It was high enough that you didn't have to worry about people looking in the windows and low enough that you didn't have to ride the elevator long!

The room was a few short steps from the elevator. The view is of the pool area, and is actually just a short ways around the complex from the hot tub. I could open my bedroom window and watch the hot tubbers! The view to my right was of the remainder of the building. I thought it was great!

The rooms we walked by on the walkway to EPCOT are the only rooms that I would not want to stay in. It did look like, however, that they were regular BC rooms. Everyone that walks by can look in your room.

Have fun looking for your ultimate place to stay. :teeth:
