In December? (First time for kids.) We're doing the MVSCP. (Christmas Party) But I'm a little overwhelmed with deciding on Character meals. We've done Chef Mickey's before (DH & I). Loved it. Will do it again. :) Same with Park Fare. Garden Grill, we did the ice cream social, pre-kids. Will probably do that again too.

Leaning towards O'Hana & Princess Story Book Dining.
Any suggestions? Especially for preschool boys & girls? Tips?

I second Crystal Palace!:thumbsup2 However, if you have a Lilo and Stitch fan, it is a must! We had a blast at O'hanas last December. Seeing that you have a little princessprincess: , the Princess meal is very nice. Do it for breakfast. Have you thought about Hollywood & Vine for breakfast?
Have fun planning. :flower3:

Thanks you guys, :) I haven't heard a whole lot about Crystal Palace. Must not be reading the right threads. LOL. I'll keep it in mind! And I haven't heard much about Hollywood & Vine. What characters are there?

I wish they had a Toy Story character meal. I'll find something. Maybe the Pirate cruise.

My kids were 5, 3 & (almost)1 last year and adored the Hollywood and Vine Playhouse Disney breakfast. Seriously they had a BLAST! We are going back in Sep again this year and they are already talking about it everyday. JoJo, Goliath, a couple of the Little Einsteins were the characters. I thought the food was good and the interaction was fabulous. :dance3:

We never go to DW without going to CRT and Akershus. We LOVE them both and are the highlight of my DD2's trips.

We love CP. Every trip we do this the first morning, with ressies before the park opens. I still love coming into MK, and feeling like you have the entire place to yourself. :goodvibes

My three-yr-old daughter probably had more fun at Mickey's Backyard Barbecue than she did during the entire week we were at Disney. The picnic-style buffet was quite good as well. Out of our 5 character meals (CRT, CM, LTT, 1900PF), this was the only one that I would rate as an "must-do-this-next-trip."

We loved the Ohana breakfast. We are Lilo and Stitch fans, so that was the initial draw, but we thought the food was pretty good as well.

Garden Grill is always our favorite. Would also be a nice intro to character meals for your kids...it is less hectic than the buffets and we love the food. I didn't really like 'Ohana that much and have never tried the princess storybook meal.

Another vote for Crystal Palace! My family and I have been to WDW several times and Crystal Palace is our only "absolutely must do!". The characters are Pooh and Friends. The characters are great and the food is soooo good! I agree with the above poster that making ressies for before the park opens is a great idea. It's a great way to start your day!

Crystal Palace for breakfast...BEFORE the park opens!

Make an 8:05 am ADR at CP and you'll get to stroll down a nearly deserted Main St, get great pix of the castle without people in them, have some fantastic food, great character interaction...and get a jump on the crowds if you're out by 9:00!

Cape May Breakfast Buffet/Goofys Beach Bash

Awesome food, adorable characters in their bathing suits and they spend a lot of time with you...the best character interaction we ever had

we also eat at Liberty Tree tavern-- i think the food is great and it served family style and they have the characters that come around to your table-- they serve all stouffers items-- but i heard all the other character meals are good as well-- good luck im sure you will enjoy anyplace you chose:)

If they are into Pooh & Friends, I would absolutely do CP or CRT for the princess in your group. The latter requires and ADR EXACTLY 180 days out from the day you intend to go there and is also the most expensive character meal in the world but well worth the money and effort to secure the ADR.
