What's a better deal?

Trying to figure out if I should move my August dates to possibly accomodate free dining. What would be the better deal:

1. Possible AP discount

2. Hope for a room discount

3. Free dining

I'm not sure if free dining works out to a better deal than the 4/3 deal (if extended through August). What has been your experience with Disney discounts?

It makes a huge difference depending on

1. The number of guests and their ages

2. The resort you plan on staying in

3. Your non-free dinning eating habits

4. If you plan on renewing your AP's

For instance 2 adults in a deluxe resort will usually be less expensive with AP discount or other room discounts

on the other hand

2 adults and 2 children 10 or up in a value resort makes free dinning an amazing deal
