I'm reading this book called Pretty Things. Its about how your "type" changes through-out your lifetime. You know, questioning your sexuality, the sexuality of those around you, your sanity, sexuality in general, relationships, you know, all that fun stuff.
Well theres this one guy in the book. His name is Walker. And he's ahem...friendly and well known with women all over the London area. He is in love with this totally-out-carries-a-wallet-wears-over-sized-clothing-lesbian. She's ridiculing him one day about what he wants in a woman for a real relationship. He says (forgive profanity but...) "I want a girl who won't put up with my bull-****. Some girl that is strong enough not to just buckle at the knees when I look at her. I want some girl who is absolutely irresistible becuase shes resisting me."
I thought that really fit with the theme of the thread.
Now, as for what I'm going for:
personality is a must, but you know, I have to be physically attracted to someone.
Now, to break it down further:
personality wise, I need humor. I need a healthy mix of both immaturity and maturity. I need someone who's on my intellectual level. I need someone who's strong enough to put up with me, and loving enough to want to. I need someone who actually pays attention when I talk. I need someone who is mildly organized. I need someone who can teach me something new. I need someone who doesn't look down on me for my past. I need someone who, even if they don't understand me, tries to.
Physically, I love blonds. I love tall. I love beautiful eyes. Thats pretty much all I would like, but I don't need that. If the personality is there, I can learn to love their physical appearance.
