Hello All!! We are going on our first Disney Cruise and I would love to hear what people wish they would have packed along for previous cruises. I know about the clothes pins, outlet strip and over the door shoe organizer with clear pockets. BUT......whatelse?? TIA

Thanks! I will keep that in mind. We are doing Disney World afterwards, so its sort of packing for 2 trips..lol

Vitamin E cream, learned its a magic cream that fixes all from cuts and scrapes to bad sunburns. It's definately been added to my packing list especially if you have kiddies

A sweatshirt and long pants. We find the movie theater to be cold on each of the ships, plus it can be chilly up on deck at night any time of the year. My DD even packs her own blanket and will take that to the movies.

LESS here too!!! Even for 2 trips... trust me.
We did laundry and it was a LIFESAVER, plus it was really nice to do all your loads at once on quiet laundry days...i.e. not sea day.

I wish I would have packed a power STRIP not one of those converters that converts one plug to 3. That was to wide and over took the light switch on the desk.

Other then that, didn't need anything else! Didn't use/buy a door hanger, did bring/use clothes pins but didn't really need them... there is a clothes line in the shower.

I learned after my first cruise not to forget to pack my Splenda and DH's
Sweet & Low as what is on the ship is the fake stuff and awful.

I can't agree more with the "less" comments. We have now gotten to the point of each packing a carry-on size piece of luggage for a 5 day or less cruise.

I am bringing resusable cups. I have a mug with lid for coffee and a tumbler for cold drinks. I know it annoys other cruisers (I don't know why since you drink from the lid or straw and the part that touches the machine does not touch your mouth) but it kills me to use so many of those small paper cups, especially since we are doing an 8 night. I also hope it saves me time waiting in line since my own cups hold 16 oz rather than the tiny 8-10oz cups at the stations.

OH YES! That should be on packing list!! A reusable cup or solo cups if you want to go home with less:thumbsup2

We brought ones and ended up buying Tervis tumblers in Key West... we used both.

Less.......

If you need to do laundry, don't wait until the 2 days, everyone is in the laundry room!

And my Tervis Tumbler. I brought a 16 oz size. I took it with me all day, for coffee in the AM at the beverage stations, filled with ice water at the pool, and kept it full of ice too bedside. (I like lots of ice in my drinks).

Good thinking! My DD is ALWAYS cold.

magazines, boods, sunglasses, phone charger, dollar bills for room service, hats, comfortable shoes, large mug, toilet paper (yes, we bring our own).

Hate to tell you this, but germs travel. DCL hygiene policy states you must use a disposable cup to fill up your resuable cup. You can reuse the disposable cup during one visit to the station (fill - dump, fill - dump, etc.) but must use a new one on each visit.

Mine is a drink carrier. Someone mentioned it on a thread I posted a few days ago, and it seems like a genius idea!

I found one at QuickTrip, and we always pack reusable cups/sippy cups for refills at the drink station. I also take a small container of dishwashing liquid so I can wash them daily.

Yes, please do the fill/dump method with the paper cups.

This. I really wished I had a pair of comfy sweatpants or yoga pants and a sweatshirt.

Power strip and TISSUES! Both my son and I had a slight cold with runny noses (neither of our colds was caused by the ship, FYI). My poor son (he's 5) looked like Hitler when we got off the ship since he mostly wipes instead of blows. A good box of Puffs would have been a lifesaver. And I knew outlets were scarce, but I didn't realize there were ZERO in the bathrooms. The only place to plug in stuff was on the desk.
