I know this isn't at Disney but I get SO excited riding the "monorail" from the terminal at the Air Port to the Luggage claim area, it makes it semi Official!
Ah! I know EXACTLY what you mean! When I went, even the morning we were leaving it just didn't feel like we were actually going to Disney. But for some reason, riding that thing just made the whole thing hit me like a ton of bricks...and I was on cloud 9 for the next 5 days...
Anyway, things I've never done that I'm excited for:
-Doing a split stay at two resorts.
-Staying at a deluxe resort!! (for part of the trip)
-Going to one of the water parks! (We're thinking Blizzard Beach)
-Experiencing Disney with my best friend!
-Surprising my Best Pal with lots of little Disney Magical things that she'll never expect (I'm hoping to go ALL out! Cakes, an arrangement in the room...maybe even a private cruise of some kind! Who knows!)
-Eating in the Castle!
-Pin Trading!
-Space Mountain when it will be completely redone!
Things I'm excited to do AGAIN:
-Main Street and the Castle
-Meeting the Characters
-MEET MICKEY!
-Go shopping crazy for Disney stuff.
-Goofy's Candy Co
-the Monorail
-All my favorite rides
-All the wonderful CM's!
-Fantasmic! (I don't care if it's still a horrible schedule when I go....It was one of THE highlights of Disney for me....it epitomized it for me and I CANNOT miss it!)
-Fireworks.
-Oh geez. JUST BEING IN DISNEY!!
And of course, I'm excited for all the planning I'll be doing for a loooong time before the actual trip. And I'm excited for the Disney Buzz I'll have in the weeks upon returning home, making trip reports and doing photopass and telling everyone about it!

It's after the buzz wears off that I'm dreading.
