Mine was 1989 and I was in college. I went with a roommate of mine over summer break and I was HOOKED!!! Now that I have DS, it seems that if we go a year without going, we've really MISSED something. I know it won't always be this way--he'll get older and too cool for Disney and too cool for hanging out with his mom. I sure am enjoying the heck out of it now though!!!

1982 - I was 13 months old and I still enjoy looking at the pictures that my parents took. It's amazing to look at the simple joys back then in pictures and realize the same little things give me just as much joy now.

See sig...

I was 17 and it was my senior year spring break. A buddy & I had the run of Magic Kingdom & Epcot, while our parents pretty much golfed. I think it was only a 2 day trip, and when we got back home in WV we had to shovel about a foot of snow out of the driveway so we could pull in and unload. Ahhhhh, good times...

When I was a high school soph went with my family stayed off site 1982 :earsboy:

1995 was my fisrt time. Ever since I have go at least once a year. I am so addicted. :earsgirl:

The first time for us was in August, 1973 for our honeymoon. We stayed outside the park at a place that I think was called the Carolondo, and rented a car from Capital car rental which was out in a mud hole. At the airport, we had to get off the plane using a set of moveable autostairs onto the runway. There was nothing for miles, but flat, baron property. If I only knew!!

Been there many, many times since then with our daughter, and now we are owners of DVC!

1972 with my younger sister and grandparents. It was sooooo coooool. Was also my first time on a plane, an Eastern Airlines WhisperJet.

Our 9th grade Spanish class went in 1991!!!! Our trip had NOTHING to do with Spanish....our teacher just wanted to take us there. My whole family went, including my great-aunt, because we were good family friends with the teacher and my parents could go free as chaperones! It was a lot of fun because I was with my family AND my best friends.

It was during the days of NO PARK HOPPING and I remember EPCOT being almost h-e-double hockey sticks by the time Illumiations started....on our feet in the heat all day....bad news...I remember collapsing in bed and not being able to move to get my sweaty clothes off and pajamas on! And Magic Kingdom was a full day the next day!

I had a WDW pop up book as a kiddo and it was really magical to go on the attractions I loved to look at as a kid in the book!

I went in 2003 and was 35. Not as young as I would have liked but my kids were 5 and we stayed offsite.

Last year went in september and had a great time on site.

I visited Disney for the first time in 2003 at the age of 45, and my DD was 6. We moved to Orlando 3 months later!

October, 1971. About a week after opening. I never realized my parents were cool until I figured that out.

I was almost 3 months old, don't remember a thing. But I do remember when we went again in 74.

We went in February 1972. Just like to OP, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Travelpark in an old popup camper. At that time, it was the closest campground to the front entrance. It's long gone now. I was 6 yrs old so I don't remember much. IASM was my favorite ride. I do remember m heart was beating so fast when we rode the monorail through the contemporary. It was the coolest thing. :cool1:

1982 (I was still in my moms stomach and she was 8 months preggo) :rotfl:

My first trip was in 1976 with my parents and brother. (We stayed off property) I really loved the bi-centennial themed parade and decorations! :earsboy: I still have my ticket booklet with several attraction tickets left, including a couple of E-Tickets :teeth:

1993. I was the most excited kid on the planet. Though I think my parents were even more excited. They had been waiting since the park opened to visit and they finally saved enough money to do it when my sister and I were 12 and 10. It was the perfect trip. :)
