what year do AKV pts expire?

We haven't been in the market to add more pts. but my sister wants to purchase more pts for us since we take her often with us and use our pts. Can't believe it! We're wondering what yr. the pts at AKV expire...can someone tell us?

As you know, your points expire 12 months after the UY you receive them in unless you bank them into the next year. You can only bank them once, which in essence moves their expiration into the future UY, so roughly 24 months is the maximum expiration.

The AKV contract doesn't expire until 2057 so you will basically receive your annual point allotment for 50 years. Nobody really knows what DVC will do when resorts start nearing their contract expirations. Even the orignal resort contracts don't expire until 2042.
