What wouldn't you do again?

This is the video "attraction" you watch in Epcot starring Martin Short as he explains and goes through the entire birthing process.

It seemed like it was produced in the very early 80's. I remember suffering through it when I was a kid, then saw it for the last time in 2003 when I was pregnant. (Thought it would substitute for birthday classes! Just kidding.)

We've been back twice since then, so this attraction may have closed in the last 4 years. Trust me, we didn't bother to seek it out, my little one would not have enjoyed it and would have had way too many questions I didn't want to have to answer on vacation!

I googled Disney's The Making of Me and it is still running at Epcot, after all these years.

This site wouldn't let me post any links, but if your interested just google what idea and you'll find it!

Hands down...Mission Space. The feeling of spinning was horrible and it was SO short (not that I complained about that!) for all the hype. I thought we have make a return visit back to Earth. I know the other people I traveled with were disappointed with that.

I love 95% of WDW.

BUT...

I won't do Stitch again...stupid IMO. Spaceship Earth....ick. Honey I Shrunk the Audience was good the first time but that's done. :rolleyes1

We won't have a dinner in a park different than the park we spent the day at.

We were RUNNNNNNINGG to Epcot after a full day at MK. My kids were dead! Plan your dinner the same park you are spending the day at!!:)

We had too many PSR's or now they are ADR's and it was so silly, we did the same thing, RUNNING to Epcot to get to Garden Grill, RUNNING through Animal Kingdom to get to Donald's Breakfastosaurus. No more of that. It was exhausting for all of us.

Hated that ride. Won't do it again. Don't know why we did it twice. Ick.

Drew Carey attraction at MGM is not worth the time or energy. I love Disney and I am surprised that they haven't utilized the space for something much more EXCITING!!!

We did Christmas at Disney this year! I loved the decorations and the atmosphere, but I would go earlier in December and stay away the week before Christmas. Wall to wall people.

I loved character meals especially on the dining plan. Paying 39.00 approximately per person per day. A character meal at minimum costs 80.00-90.00 a meal. Well worth it with the DDP.

Wouldn't do MGM; Hollywood and Vine restaurant.

Other than that, I LOVE everything DISNEY!!!:goodvibes

carousel of progress, hate it! (actually took a nice nap though)
Tiki room,hate it!
Lecellier,tried it,wasn't worth the bother or $$$
french bakery..ewwwww!
stay at POP and use the bus system
eat at the Mexico indoor restaurant, you can get the same food outdoors for much less $$$$
Don't get me wrong, there are LOTS of things at WDW we love, but not these things.....;)

The Making of Me is (was) in the Wonders of Life pavillion that's been closed down for a little over a year, I think. Seems like a few attractions were still in it when it opened up sometime over the last year, or maybe when it was used for Food & Wine Festival or something like that, but the entire pavillion is basically closed down for good at this point.

Drew Carey is definitely a disappoint as well as the tomorrowland transit and carousel of progress at MK. BUILD SOMETHING ELSE!! Those dinosaurs need laid to rest! Character dining is great because it does kill 2 birds with one stone! I like Stitch so even though it's corny, we go! Won't ever eat at Cinderella's royal table either, horrible service, lousy food and overpriced!

We love Tomorrowland Transit Authority and Carousel of Progress! I sure hope they don't get rid of these! Both are great places to take a break in a crowded park. My youngest (who is now 8) especially loves COP and can sing along with the song!

We are also not big Fantasmic fans. Just wasn't all that wowed. See it once, you've seen it enough. Even with the dinner pkg at Hollywood and Vine (another don't bother), we had to wait ages and everyone was just crabby and tired by the time the show finally started. My kids were little, so they were freaked out by the villains. Ehhh. We skipped it this past trip and are going again for a short visit over Spring Break--it's not on our list. Making it 4 seats more available for the masses who do love and appreciate it!:goodvibes

Ditto Fantasmic......one trick pony with the water screens......
Save the time and get four rides on Tower or RnR while everyone else battles it our for space in Fantasmic!:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Ok, Never Mission Space, Had a panic attack on the ride, thought I was in a coffin:scared1: (I still feel bad for the nice lady sitting next to me who let me hold her hand:) )

Olivia's at OKW. I go every time and every time I say never again.

The Luau at the poly, DH and I walked out. Although my kids may like it in the future, we just felt silly and bored...

Thanksgiving, I missed entertaining at home, (even though I may complain a bit:confused3 )

I Love Disney!:cheer2:

AK is our favorite, a must do for at least one day every vacation. We also love to relax on TTA. COP is a nice time every few years but it's been a looong time since we've caught it open. FYI, we went to "Wonders of Life" Jan 1, 2006, which was the last day it was open.

Our "never again"s include: Stitch (disgusting); July-Sep (waaaaay too hot); TOT or any roller coaster (waaaay too chicken); Value resorts (DVC owners and really spoiled); Narnia...basically a commercial and the only time I ever felt ripped off at any Disney park.

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet...

We will not do the Dining Plan again (unless it's free).

We enjoyed trying lots of different restaurants. But, we felt like slaves to our ADRs most of the time. We found it hard to change our plans if we felt like it because everything was based on when and where we had ADRs. We didn't want to skip any of them because we didn't want to waste the credits we'd already paid for. Plus, the kids sometimes wanted to try different snacks but we'd say, "No honey, we have an ADR in an hour - no snacks right now."

We did a trip to Disneyland last summer and we compared how nice it was to be free to eat where and when we felt like it. Next time at WDW, we will pick a few places that we really liked or want to try, make some ADRs and pay out of pocket. The rest of the time, we'll snack or eat counter service or whatever!

MK
Stitch
Country Bears

Epcot
UK Fish and Chips (like biting into crispy grease  )
Honey I Shrunk the Audience
American Adventure--appreciate it, though

Studios
Drew Carey "Sounds Dangerous"
Indiana Jones--once is enough
Motor Stunt Show-- once is enough
Backstage tour-- "" ""

Animal Kingdom
Finding Nemo Musical-- once is enough, but I do appreciate it.
Anything in Chester and Hester Land

In General
Over-plan: Takes away a lot of the fun to know so many things in advance.

You are (guess I should say Y'all) all just too cute of a family!!

...skip something we never tried based on someone else's advice.

:rotfl2:

Truer words were never spoken. Different people are going have different opinions. Make up your OWN mind about EVERYTHING is the best advice of all. Try EVERYTHING at least once. Unless of course you know you can't, like motion sickness, claustrophobia, etc...

Then again, maybe you'll want to try throwing up or freaking out at WDW at least once in your lifetime. :)

I agree with those who are giving stitch the thumbs down. I did like alien encounter (I think that was the name) but stitch is just not a good way to spend my precious vacation time. It really is not good at all. Also we found the new Nemo ride at Epcot to be a Major snooze fest as well. I do disagree with the Laugh Floor being boring. We enjoyed it but we do like the corney jokes so I'm sure that makes a big difference.

My daughter loves Stitch (the character) so we had to revisit it the last time we went. I would also skip Prim-evil Hurl but she loves it so I put up with it.
