What would your High School self think about your style today?

Ha! My teenage self couldn't have fathomed being the age I am now; I then considered 30 to be over the hill and impossibly stodgey. Not to mention disdainful of anything larger than a size 5. :o Objectively speaking though, my hairstyle and the way I dress now is a pretty logical progression from how they were then.

I think as a guy, we don’t really change our style to begin with. The exception being if there is a dress code for work.

I'd buy some pretty cool things in high school, but by the time I got to college I was pretty much a t-shirt/jeans/shorts guy. That's what I wear today. Of course if I'm going to an affair like a wedding, I put on the "good" cargo shorts and a fresh t-shirt with only a modest size Mickey Mouse on it. :earboy2:

She would be relieved. I attended a private college prep high school. Everyone there (not me) was wealthy and preppy and I did the best I could to emulate their style to fit in. But it was so not me. In college I was able to finally be myself....an eclectic blend of goth and artsy. Since then I've gotten a bit more casual about it all, but basically still the same.

I think my young self wound be a bit forgiving and then would tell my old self to get off my butt and do something - not that I’m far from the size I was - I’m very close
My style has evolved and grown - nothing radical but not my age - I think my young self would be happy with that much - but I will say as I get older I just like being comfortable all the time - I never was one for dressing up - but heels don’t touch these feet ever - they’ve been broken too many times !!
Hair - I change it frequently same as when I was younger so nothing new - except I color it now as I don’t care to be grey - premature grey runs in family
I rarely wear makeup anymore but when I do I’ve gotten better with age so my younger self would be happy with that
Also my older self can afford to buy nicer clothes so my younger self would be very happy with that - just not the size as my younger self hadn’t had kids and surgeries
So all and all I think we would be ok !! If not I’d just tell myself to shut up ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I haven't really gotten the memo that we are out of quarantine....so bras, heels, designer clothes from my younger years and from pre-covid are mostly long gone!

My younger self would not be happy. She was kinda fancy. Well, maybe happy about the bra...:joker:

I didn’t follow the style trends in high school, and I don’t follow them now. I have always worn what was comfortable and not overly revealing. I don’t think my HS self would mind the clothes, but might be concerned about how my hair has thinned the past few years. My hair used to be way too thick, and is now quite thin.

My basic style hasn't changed since high school (which I graduated from in 1980). Casual, comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, have always been my style. Never followed fashion trends.
