What would your 5th day be?

We are planning our first WDW trip, and we will have 5 park days. (maaaaayyyyybeee 6, but probably just 5). We want to hit each park once, for sure, and then a 2nd day at one of the parks. We will not have park hoppers. There will be 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 5-15. Which park would you choose for your 5th day and why?

Start with the opening show at MK and finish with the MK nighttime spectacular.

We are two adults so we skip many of the rides, shows, and character meets at MK. But, we still do two days at MK. It has more attractions than the other parks, so logistically it just takes us longer to accomplish everything we want to do. Especially if you factor in meals and breaks. We also spend a second day at Epcot, but an extra day at MK would be more of a priority for us if we were short on time.

Easily MK - It has probably more "attractions" (rides/show) then any of the other two parks COMBINED.

MK and if you change your mind during the week there is always flexibility for fastpasses. Our first trip we decided to add an extra AK day and had no problem getting fast passes. You may not get them for the times that are ideal or every ride but you can always rope drop those you don't get and you will still have a blast. My guess is you'll want the extra day in MK though.

Definitely MK. When we do a Saturday-Saturday trip we spend Monday and Friday in the MK and half of Saturday before we go home.

I would do three park days, take a day off to relax (maybe get out of the Disney bubble) then do the fourth park and repeat the MK if you have six days.

It depends. If no festival is at Epcot day 5 is always yp for grabs but usually MK. If it is food and wine then alway Epcot. Flower and garden depends on how much we get done on day 1 on if we go back for day 2.

Absolutely MK, and if you add a 6th day, that would be a 2nd day at EPCOT. We usually do 2 days MK, 2 days EPCOT, 1 day DHS, and 1 day AK. Even with that- we usually don't spend a full day at AK and we wind up hopping to MK that night for some extra MK time (of course now AK has Rivers of Light and Pandora will open soon so that may change things).

MK for sure. We even do 2 MK with a 4 day trip. If you swing a 6th day, Epcot!
