Originally we planned our DL (trip within a trip) for Feb 27-March 1st. We booked three day park hoppers and only two nights in the camelot hotel. We will need to travel 4 hours to get there from our first vacation destination. We had thought we'd get up early tues. drive, play sleep, then on Wed, have all day to play... and thurs play most of the day and drive home. BUT, now it seems that we'll be wasting at least 8 hours of our tickets by driving and then leaving early on our last day.

SO, now we're thinking we'll leave MONDAY night and go at least part way to anaheim if not all the way. BUT, I'm not sure of two things...

1st SHOULD WE book another night at Camelot since it's close, BUT keeping in mind I'm assuming it will be more exspensive to stay that close to the park. OR should we book someplace further out and cheaper, then drive to park (or maybe we can park at the camelot since we'll be staying there that night) early AM on Tues.

2nd CAN we add another night at Camelot since we booked through getaway today?

I'd ask getaway today the question. If you book outside of them, you might have to check out of your room and recheckin. But, booking directly through the hotel for the extra night is an option if getaway today can't help.

I don't know where you are coming from and where you would stay. I thought that the Camelot was pretty reasonable so it might not cost anymore to stay the extra night there. Even if it is close to the park, there is so much competion in the area that the rates seem to be low at many of the hotels.
