What would you rather not have

How could you not like Country Bears, "There was... blood on my pillow, and... blood all around... and three, big, puddles of........ blood." :rotfl2:

I hate, hate hate hate hatehatehate the new tiki room with Iago. :headache: I enjoy the old one that's still at DL. (Did I mention hate?)

Mama don't whip little Buford.
Mama don't pound on his head.
Mama don't whip little Buford.
I think you should shoot him instead.

(Henry)
Bang!

Yes, folks, we only have high class stuff on this show.

:rotfl: Love the lyrics in Country Bears and Max, Biff and Duff on the wall.

Agree with Tiki Room-bring back the original. Disneyland got a beautiful redo of theirs and it is packed all the time. Swiss Family is a classic. The views are beautiful up there and yes it is always crowded when it is open. Kids love it.

I would have to go with the Big Ugly Hat or BAH at the Studios. It blocks the Chinese Theater and distorts my favorite hidden Mickey. It looks cheap and gaudy-move it.

Blow up Dinoland (Primevel whirl, cheesy carnival games)with the exception of Dinosaur. That is the oddest, most out of place area in all of WDW.

I HATE the midway area. Uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and cheap again.

Okay so if there was an attraction in a park that you could just plow over with a bulldozer what would it be and why? maybe include a solution to that attractions problem.

p.s. this is the first thread i start so take it easy on me

For your first thread that was great! Great question and hilarious how you put it! "plow over with a bulldozer":rotfl: And my answer would be Tiki Room!

Can we vote to mow down an entire land??

Tomorrowland with the exception of Space Mountain.

Ok, that might be harsh.

So, I will choose one: Stitch's Great Escape is the BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME EVER INVENTED! When it's scorching hot and we are tired, we do this attraction so that we can catch a nap in the air conditioning.

Stitch for sure - it's just palin awful! Also, Malestrom in Epcot - boring!!!

I love maelstrom!

Stich is one of those rides that I can take it or leave it. I don't do the speedway(can do that at any amusement park at home), and sounds dangerous is outdated.

If I were to take out/redo any ride it would be:

Magic Kingdom: Redo the Riverboat. It is hot, you have to stand in the sun, and you can't always hear the speakers. I was bored out of my mind!

EPCOT: The American Adventure needs to have something done to it. My husband constantly falls asleep because it is a big history lesson. Although it is nicely air conditioned :)

I also say bring back Spaceship Earth the way it was BEFORE the rehab. It was our favorite ride of all the parks! Now we do it maybe once a trip. Same thing with the boat in Mexico. The three Caballeros isn't working for me.

Hollywood Studios: Get rid of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! How many times can the same scene be played over and over, and over again. If I want to see this, I will rent the video!

Animal Kingdom: Not really an attraction, but a serious improvement: Make the walkways bigger, and don't funnel people with only one entrance/exit. Even when this park is not crowded, it is crowded! I can't really say what rides to take out, because we only do a few. This is our least favorite park, so we spend the least amount of time here.

JMHO!

:dance3:

It's a small world or country bears.

Granted both of them are nostalgia and you have to do it at least once but once was enough yuck! Not even the kids liked them.

Oh or stitch!

My goodness, with how many different ring tones and you picked that one!!!!

:scared1:

I am on my way to you and you must surrender your phone!!!

Aww it's just the musical non-singing Hawaiian part of It's A Small World. Does that make it better? :lmao:

Stitch is bad, but does anybody remember the attraction that was there in that spot, before Alien Encounter?
It was called Mission To Mars and it was the biggest waste of time.
They keep recycling the same circular seating format.
(I'm not talking about M:S, this was years ago!)
Basically, I remember a very fake blast off, where the seats kind of shook and that was about it. Very bad.

The first part is the pre-show, complete with old school AA's.

Here, in the second part, you can see the similarity on the inside room, to AI and Stitch.

Bring back AI! :scared1:

Let's lose Journey into the Imagination. As for Stitch, roll it back to Extra Terrorestrial. That was good and scary. (Not great for repeat rides, though.)

This is going to sound very unpatriotic but two of my least favorite attractions in all of WDW are The American Experience at Epcot and The Hall of Presidents at MK.
The American Experience is so long and boring. The whole American "land" at Epcot does not even come close to comparing to the other countries "lands" at World Showcase. It's pretty embarassing.

As far as the Hall of Presidents; it's cool to see one time but now it just looks old and outdated and kind of creepy.

Yep, it does sound kind of unpatriotic.

When the HoP reopens in 3 weeks, it will be new and updated and creepy.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say TSM. It was so disappointing after seeing the incredible wait times. For me this ride is just a bad cross between the midway area in Dinoland and Primeval Whirl... not worth it.

For goodness sakes, plow over the Jungle Cruise! Tacky, outdated, boring, waste of a HUGE space that could be better used. The JC is absolutely unnecessary now that there is the REAL thing at the AK!

Another vote for STITCH!!

My DD5 who laughed all the way through ToT was absolutely beside herself during the Stitch ride. :scared:

I kinda like the Figment ride - I know it is old, but when I was 10 it was the newest ride. DD5 seemed to really like that one, too. So it is rather nostalgic for me!!

I love JC
But do think it would be better if they updated the animals to be more life like.
Or Larger than life because i've gone on JC an I've gone on the safari at AK, I still haven't seen the Lions move an inch on either.

Not a big fan of country bears or tiki house either but it's a nice a/cd break in the summer heat ;)

Quote of the century! Made me laugh so hard that my co-manager just came running into my office to see what was so funny!

Thanks for the laugh!

1st choice would be Stitch! If I could pick 2, I would also say Tom Sawyer island---boring.

There are lots of rides and attractions I think could use a major overhaul but would basically still be the same building and style (Tiki, Bears, Stitch, Speedway, HoP, etc.). The one thing that should be erased from existence and do completely over so that it is nothing like it was is Dinoland in AK (as others have said). What happens when you try to replicate a cheap side-of-the-road carnival? You get a cheap side-of-the-road carnival and slapping Disney's name on it doesn't change the result. I understand what they were going for but the result isn't cute or interesting. I can't really say it failed because it replicates the feel perfectly. It just isn't appropriate.

I'm surprised no ones mentioned this one.. the Peter Pan ride was terrible!
It was like they had gone and purchased all the miniature christmas decorations on clearance! We won't be 'sailing' on that ride again!

And.. I'm sure it's cute for little ones, but we couldn't believe how cheap it all felt!
