Thanks! :wizard:

Bleedin' Chowda at Raglan Road. We've tried at least seven entrees and none compare to this.

Emeril's is wonderful at Universal, and Mythos is a tie right with it!

And for a hoot- you could do HRC if you haven't before...

California Grill - Goat Cheese Ravioli & Spicy Kazan Roll

Kona - Duck Potstickers

Universal - Emeril's Orlando or Emeril's Tchoup Chop, Margaritaville, Mythos

Without looking at the menus... at any of those restaurants I would eat either what I liked, or what looked tempting/tasty from the menu description or the server's advice. It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to tell you what I'd eat; for example, one person said "Bleedin' Chowder at Raglan Road". I never liked chowder, ever. Another person recommended sushi at California Grill. Nope, not for me.

So without knowing your tastes, likes/dislikes, what you will/won't eat...

Artists Point: Portabella mushroom soup (my favorite soup anywhere), the buffalo steak, and the cedar plank salmon. If they have the coffee duo for dessert, it is fantabulicious.

oh my gosh! ragland road, the ribs are to DIE for, i want to go back, but the majority wants to try something new...so..that means eat some for me!

I just really wanted to get a consensus of what others thought was good...

I get that I might not be into something that someone else recommends...but it doesn't mean I wouldn't be into either.

Haven't you ever gone to a restaurant with friends and asked them what's good here??? Did you run down a list of your food allergies, likes/dislikes etc before asking?

I think I am sold on the buffalo steak--everyone i've asked has recommended it...thank you!!! :thumbsup2

thanks so much for all your input!!

I swear talking about the food in the restaurants is one of my very favorite things to do...so i really appreciate the feedback!

and yum...everything sounds awesome!

Kona - the pomegranete bbq pork chop or the steak

Sci/Fi - always order the rack of ribs or an angus chuck burger here

Raglan Road - love Kevin's Ham or the Ribs To The Power Of Two

:goodvibes

Well, I've only eaten at a couple of the places you've listed but here are my recommendations for those:

1. California Grill - I ordered the Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli for my app, the Grilled Pork Tenderloin served with goat cheese polenta as my entree, and the Mascarpone and Meyer Lemon Cheesecake for dessert. I thought the ravioli was pretty good but a little over-hyped on the boards. The pork and polenta were to.die.for!! Absolutely delicious! The lemon cheesecake was just okay for me. I wouldn't order that again. My DH ordered the Oak-fired Filet of Beef, which he raved over. He got the Bananas and Caramel for his dessert and also enjoyed it very much.

2. Kona Cafe - I ordered the Tuna Oscar for my entree and this was also very good. I loved the fried green tomatoes that came with it but the asparagus was just okay. My DH ordered the Shrimp and Scallops entree but doubled the shrimp in place of the scallops. He also enjoyed his very much. For dessert I had the Coconut Cream Kiki tart and he had the Banana-chocolate Creme Brulee. I loved mine and he said his was his favorite dessert of the whole trip.

Hope this helps a little. Have fun!

Rose & Crown- the only thing I will eat here is the bangers and mash, because they are amazing! I would also go with sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

Kona-I am really thinking the wings, teriyaki steak, and creme brulee look yummy.

Tokyo Dining- I am getting a California Roll, and a Bento Box, I really like the mixture of foods I get.

WGP- The pumpkin ravioli, or blue cheese steak.

Sci-fi- Spinach dip!! Milkshake!! Black and Blue Salad!!

Hope whatever you pick, you really enjoy it!!:cutie:

Well for Sci Fi I would suggest the burger but that is only at lunch. Wash it down with a shake and the chocolate peanut butter cake.
As for Raglan Road, Dh loved the steak (10 times better than Le Cellier but I disagreed) my Dad loved loved loved the chowder, Mom had the pasta with meat balls and liked it. I had the pork stuffed with sausage, it was very yummy and it came with mash potatoes. Dessert was ok, I am the exception and did not like the bread pudding but my mom did. But they have the best Baileys milkshake very yummy. Have fun eating your way through the world. I was shocked when I got home and did not gain a pound.:goodvibes
