What would you keep....

I just found out I can't keep 2 car ressies for my March trip. I have a midsize (EI) for $313( all taxes in ) for 2 weeks. I also have a midsize SUV ( EReserve) for only $12.00 more. The suv looks small to me where as the G6 looks like it would have more room. My hope is to get a minivan or something like that( we are a family of 5.) What do you think I should keep? Where do I have a better chance of something good for a family of 5?
First timers here. Any help would be great!

Just my opinion here, but I don't get the point of renting an SUV if you aren't planning to go off-roading. You'll get more space, easier entry/exit and better milage from a car or van.

But I must be missing something, because they sure are popular.

The actual legroom and space in a G6 as opposed to a mid sized SUV (probably an Equinox) is about the same (we have used both).The G6 had more luggage space though.

Exactly! I've kept both ressies because I thought my chances of getting an upgrade was better with the E Reserve instead of EI? What do you think?
I don't think an Equinox WILL have enough space for all our luggage.But if I knew my chances were better at a minivan on ER , then I'll keep the SUV, do you know what I mean? It was just such a good deal at $325 for 2 weeks....
OH! what to do..... I thought I could keep both until I get there and see what they have! Guess that's not the case.Do they ever have cars on ER that might be bigger then the Equinox?
I would love to know what I might expect.
