The rooms are both in your name-you can change the names on the ressies at any time, Because of a death in the family, I had to change two of ther names on my ressie. the room was actually reserved in the name of the person who died. I called, explained the situation and changed the ressie to my name while adding two friends to it. They just changed the names and credited the original deposit to my name.

Sorry about the MIL situation. Maybe hubby can talk to mom about her behavior. People don;t usually change but theres always hope........

And yes this our very first trip to Disney as a family. My sons have never been, my husband hasn't been since 1998 and I haven't been since 2000. We are celebrating my older son's fifth birthday while there so it should be extra special.
