I have an appt. on wednesday to follow up on the twins and my 2 year olds ear infections. they finished their meds last week and this is just to make sure everything is cleared up. Their ped is pretty laid back about this, doesn't require the follow up, I just made it for my own peace of mind. I'm wondering now if I should just go ahead and cancel it though. My 3 are finally over a nasty cold that lasted for a couple of weeks, then the ear infections. I'm just worried that if we go they are going to pick up something again. they have their 9 month appt. on december 9th so I'm thinking maybe I should just wait until then. Of course, if they do have infections there will be no way of knowing if they are new or just not cleared up. Its hard to tell symptom wise because they are teething.

what would you do?

I have twins too.

Just cancel the appt. You don't need to chance getting them or you sick. I never followed up if my DD's took all of the med's.

They ( kids) will let you know in their own way if they are not well. Plus, you already have an appt for their 9 month check up.

Pedi's office's are good about getting infants in if they are running a fever or something.

Good Luck,

mt2
