I can stay at Pop entury for a little over 200 with AP, I can stay at YC for 970 with AP. I have never been to Disney for Christmas and I really can't afford the YC without putting myself in a hole, would I be crazy to do the PC it opens on the 14th of dec and I am going done on the 22nd?

I have stayed at ASMo and I really liked it. No, it is not a delux, but the Disney Magic was all around. I would rather go Pop Century than go in a hole for YC because I know that no matter how wonderful it was, then when I returned I would be down thinking of the bill.

I agree with Carol. Stay at a place that fits your budget. The money you save on this trip could be well spent later on fiture trips. Better to go to WDW twice cheaply, then to go once and blow it all.

No doubt about it, I would stay where I can afford. Would a moderate be one you could afford as well? I just look at all options and pick what fits in the budget. I personally wouldn't go in the hole for a trip to WDW.

I think PC could be really fun! Especially if its just you, or you and one other person going. I don't know that I'd stay there with my whole family, but if I'm remembering, your kids are older right Gail?

I think the difference of $700+ is pretty significant, just think of what you could do with that extra money!

Stay at Pop Century, definitely! I think it will be fun to stay at a new resort. The YC will be there later.

Pop Century, with that difference in price, and think of the nice places you can eat at with the savings!

That's a huge price difference. Try the new resort. I bet it will be fun, and especially nice knowing you stayed within your budget. The parks are more important than your room.

I booked PC and paid the extra money(10 dollars) to get the prefered room near the food court, that is in the 1960 building. Ok, Now I have to get a new countdown on here. YIPEE I am going to Disney for Christmas
