What would you do?

I would not sell to her and keep it listed as a US only shipping item if you want to continue to try to sell it that way.

I think you've already spent way too much time thinking about this and in contact with the woman in Australia than you should have.

I didn't do it. Just for the heck of it When I was in the post office mailing a different package I asked how much it would have been to mail a box about the same size to Australia, insured and with tracking. She said it would be about $135 plus $7.00 to insure. :crazy2: NO WAY!! That was my easy out!! :thumbsup2

Thank you all for your help. :goodvibes

Posting as an Aussie here :goodvibes

Just giving you a different point of view...the range of products in a Australia is definitely smaller than what you guys have and the price we pay for the same things is usually double.

If it was something I really wanted, $135 postage wouldn't put me off. I always request my items be sent priority mail or EMS to protect me as much as you. First class mail IS NOT trackable. Sometimes I pay more for postage, than I do for the item....only because its stuff I can't buy here.

If an overseas seller wanted me to pay with an international money order, I would think that I am going to be scammed :confused3

At the end of the day, you need to do what you think is best for you, but not all international buyers are scammers :)
