What would you do?

So am I stupid to wait until next December to go to VGF? I've wanted to stay BLT for a while and I finally got a LV studio there this December. I was going to wait till next December to stay at VGF. But now my husband and the rest of the family think I'm crazy. They say we should stay at VGF now while it's "almost new" and then try to get BLT again next December. But I think I just got lucky this year, and may not be so lucky again next year with BLT.

What would you do?

Are you a BLT owner, or did you book at the 7 month window?? And are you a VGF owner that can book 11 months out? I think getting BLT at 7 months would be somewhat difficult for December but to book VGF at 7 months will probably be impossible... So I guess what I am saying if you got BLT 7 months out you should keep it, especially if you are a VGF owner you can book at the 11 month window for next December and get in with no issues. I personally love BLT and have zero desire to stay at VGF, it just doesn't do it for me... At the end of the day you should do what you want, both resorts will still be there the next time you go... Haha (whisper chants **BLT BLT BLT**).

I'd keep BLT too . My thoughts on this is with your home resort , you will eventually get stuck having to stay there (I know it sucks )at some point so if you get something else that is more difficult cause you don't have home resort advantage take you'll be. VGF in no time .

I'd stick with the BLT since it's not your home resort and is a place you've been wanting to stay. VGF will be there for 50 years. Actually BLT will too and you'd most likely get a chance again but since you definitely have the reservation this year you'll relieve stress of getting it again.

Unless the family is going to whine when you ride the monorail past VGF. That's a stressful situation too.
