In your friends shoes, would you want to know? Would you want a good friend to be the one to tell you? If the answer to both those questions is Yes, then you need to tell your friend.
Yes, it may be an awful thing to have to tell her, and it may affect your friendship for a while. But if she's a good friend to you, and you to her, she wouldn't let it spoil things between you forever.
How will she feel if she finds out from someone else about her husbands affair, and also that you knew about it long before she did?
