What would you do?

I posted this on the resort page because I am not quite sure which place it would be best but here it goes:

I need some help. I keep going back and forth so, if given the choice, which one of these options would you do.

1. Stay at Pop for first three nights of trip on dining, then move over to the Poly for 7 nights on the deluxe dining plan (with this option, we get one extra day in parks because of the two packages) OR

2. Stay at the Poly for whole trip on just the regular dining plan.

Option 2 is about $100 more. We are going the Wednesday after Easter so the parks will be packed.

Any opinions or thoughts will be helpful.

This is something to consider. I doubt you will be saving any money.

But to answer your question I would stay all 7 nights at the poly if it fit my budget and would get the deluxe plan if I was going to dine at 2 credit restaurants otherwise I would go with the basic.

Yes, I did figure with buying the both packages. Option 1 is still $100 cheaper. It's funny because i posted the same question on the resort board and all responses were for Option 2. Every one!

With option 1, I figured with a 10 park hopper at the Pop and then just a 1 day base package at the Poly. Option 2 is $100 more without the extra day in the park because is only one package.

That's true! I posted the same question on the resort board and every single response was to just stay at the Poly for the whole time and use the basic dp. I guess that does not bode well for the DDP in 2008!

I agree. I'm not crazy about the 2008 DDP. We have used the DDP on our past 2 trips and will use it again for our family trip in December. We have decided not to use the DDP for our 2008 trip. Not a good deal for our family.
