We went to Disney in October 2006 dh, me, dd2, dd6, ds10. We stayed at the POP. Older kids swaped staying on the blow up bed. Went great! We wanted to go again in Oct 2007. This trip my dd will be 3 so we can't "stay" at the POP. My question is would it be horrible for us to book a package at POP w/ dining plan for dh, me, dd3, dd7 and buy ds11 a seperate ticket and pay for his dinner. And just sleep like we did this year. We really enjoyed the POP and I really don't want to stay at the moderates. I like the kids theme of the value. We would stay at a deluxe , but I can't imagine paying that much to sleep and shower. (2850 @ POP AND 5200 @ Poly)We have so much planned for this trip BBB, Tea at the GF, A kids camp and Universal. I just don't know what to do. I thought about the suite at the all star, but there all booked. I just want to get opinions.

Could you due two rooms at pop and then maybe you and DH could get a king size bed?

We did two rooms at the All Stars, which gave us 4 double beds, 2 bathrooms, and a private room for DH and I.

If you did what you're suggesting, your older DS wouldn't be able to do extra magic hours with you.

Not sure why this was posted twice but I'll give the same answer:

Disney has rules. Guests are expected to abide by the terms of purchase. When you book a room that has an occupancy of 4, you are expected not to put more than 4 people over age 2 in the room.

What would I do-I would book a room that could accomodate my family according to Disney's terms. You have lots of options-2 connecting rooms, POR rooms with trundle beds, various deluxes, All Star suites and the FW cabins.

I also have 3 children and therefore I know we can't stay in a room that has an occupancy of 4 people so I make other arrangements.

I posted twice, bc when I first posted it didn't show for over an hour. Which was werid so I thought it didn't go through. We have decided to stay at the Poly. My husband told me to book. He has been wanting to there. I just think it to much. Hopefully we wil get a discount code. Cross my fingers. I didn't think about the EMH at all. I know the rules and I was just throwing it out there. I just really like the themes at the values. It feels like "Disney" to me. Plus we just really had a good time there this past year. I'm a person that likes the same. Not big on change.

That's weird. I wonder why it didn't show up.

Well, I have to say, I love the Polynesian. It feels very Disney to me. So, I think you will have a great time there. My kids love riding the monorail (Okay-I do too). The beach is great. You can watch Wishes from there. The Electrical Water Pageant goes by every night. You can see the castle changing colors at night. The pool is a lot of fun. The lobby is stunning.

There is a website dedicated to the Polynesian. If you do a web search for tikiman you should find it.
