Ok, here's the scoop. My mom and I will be at WDW in Nov. for a convention. As far as I have been told, we are getting a 3 day hopper to use while we are there. :cool1: Our schedule for the parks looks like this:
Sunday: arrive at hotel aound noon, check in then head to Epcot
check in for the convention around 5pm, head back to Epcot
be back at hotel for convention at 8pm

Monday: head to MGM around 3pm, stay as late as we can (it is the EMH)

Tuesday: Magic Kingdom from noon-7pm

Wednesday: Downtown Disney from 12:30-4pm
Leave for airport around 4pm

I dilemma is this: I want a nice sit down meal without losing a lot of time in the parks. We have both been there several times, (I was just there in May) so I don't have to do everything at the parks -- just a few of my favorites. I plan on most of the meals being counter service but like I sais, I would love a nice sit down. Is there a must do TS at MGM or MK? What about DTD? I would be willing to switch MGM and MK to do a late ADR so that we can stay later in the park!

So, what would you do?

I don't care for too many of the TS at DtD, but I would love to try Raglan Road. I think I would pick that one. At MGM, I always lean toward Prime Time and at MK, The Plaza was very nice.

At the Magic Kingdom: Tony's
At the Studios: Brown Derby
At Downtown Disney: House of Blues

But just my favorites. Everyone has different tastes.

MK- Liberty Tree
MGM- Primetime Cafe
DTD- Raglan Road
I have been to all three and they are all great. Have fun

MK: Tony's for atmosphere, LTT for food
MGM: Sci-Fi and Prime Time both have great atmosphere, Prime Time has better food in my opinion
DTD: I like both Fultons and Portobello, but they can be pricey, but if you're a seafood lover, you'l like Fultons

Also, have you though about going to a restaurant you can get to by monorail? That way you could go straight from Epcot or MK. I like O'Hanas at the Poly, California Grill at Contemporary, and 1900 Park Fare at GF is a fun character buffet

Have fun!

Thank you all for your ideas. I was just informed last night that I was misinformed and that we do not get any tickets with our registrations so I have to rethink everything!

Thanks again

At MGM I would go for 50's Prime Time

MK I would do Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch but don't like it for the character dinner. Another option would be O'Hana's since it is on the monorail.

No recommendations at DTD
