Some of you may know, I am moving at the end of the month from MA to IN. The company I work for (Insurance) will be able to transfer me, however I will be working a Thurday through Monday schedule. I am origanally a restaurant manager but got out of it because of the hours (nights and weekends). My DFiance works M-F out of the house but travels M-TH 3 weeks out of the month.
Don't want to work both weekend days, especially in a job I don't love.
I need to work to cover my own cc bills but that's it. I have a four year degreee is Hotel/Restaurant that it took me 6 six years to get.
What would you do?
1. Work the weekend job while looking for something else in related field.
2. Work p/t for f/t in a mindless job, hourly, just to pay bills and pursue more education for something that i would possibly want to do more than insurance (education)
Once we are married and start having a family, I won't be working except some parttime to keep me sane. Finacially this won't be a problem, but I just don't know what to do in the meantime. (five years or so)
Thanks, I know it was long, but I know how interesting other peoples lives are and how all the wonderful DIS friends love to help!!!
