What would you do = stay on Property or Not

I have reservations for me and my son for Disneys Pop in June for a total of -681 = this includes 2 one day passes, 15 for dinner at Planet Hollywood, free 1/2 of sea racers, with purchase of 1 hour, and buy 1 get 1 free for minature golfing.

Or

Chose staying at Marriott Resort = either Grand Vista or Cyprus Harbor or Royal Palms, a 2 bedroom (we are also traveling with my sister and her teen daughter) for about the same price.

We like the idea of the theme of disney. The kids can take the Disney buses where ever they want on their own.

Though I have stayed at the Grand Vista and Cyprus Harbor and my son loves these resorts for a low key vacation.

What would you do???

What is going to best serve your needs? Are you planning on sharing a single room at Disney for the four of you? That would get old for me really quick, like the first night! LOL.

Do you really need the transport? If so, no contest then, eh?

I've done both. Stayed on property and off. Both have their positives and drawbacks.

I just had a pretty lousy stay at a Marriott hotel (I travel a lot for work) so I'm not thinking too kindly about them right now.

I would stay at Pop century. I stayed there last year and it was great. the whole theme of the place is great the pools are amazing and almost all the buildings are farely close to the main building which includes a huge store and a GINORMIOUS food court, and if you stay at a resort you can buy this mug that is only $12, and you can fill it up for free at your resort everyday. And you can bring it down every year yet to come for your family. But, you can only do this if staying at a disney resort.This is just one of the many benefits to staying at a disney resort.

I know nothing of the places you have mentioned but if you want to allow for the Teenagers to come and go then onsite IS your best bet.


If this is NOT a must then I would consider off site -- Not to add more confusion but WH(Windsor Hills) resort is VERY CLOSE to the parks and this gentleman rents 2 and 3 bdrm condos and a couple of townhouses that are reasonable.
