I cancelled my weekend trip to Disney this weekend due to the hurricane. Now that Irene is off the coast, I am thinking of rebooking. Only problem with that is the forecast is calling for t-storms both saturday and sunday. The other option is go the following weekend. The problem with that choice is its Labor Day Weekend and will probably be more crowded.

Which would you do....rain or crowds??

Chances are good you will experience rain on Labor Day weekend as well.
We are in the middle of the Florida hurricane/rainy season.

rebook it and go this weekend. It's gonna rain either way.

I am probably no help at all, but I would just wait and go for a week-end in Dec. It will be cool and not to crowded.

I agree with Stitch Buddy December is cooler, drier plus the Holiday Parade and lights are wonderfull. We also like Late October because it is cooler, slower and the Food and Wine Festival and Micky's not so Spooky Party is great. Throw in the Terrace Desert event and you have a wonderful package.

:lmao: Weekends in December are very busy!

You will probably have rain either this weekend or Labor Day, so I don't think that will matter too much. Its Florida in the summer and just comes with the territory. I can say that Labor Day weekend isn't a real busy time at WDW. I would probably just rebook for this weekend becuase who knows what will be on the horizon til next weekend.

This time of year there's rain almost every day... it'll last for about an hour or so. Don't try to book around a report of t-storms, not necessary, and nearly impossible anyway.

Last year we had booked a 3 day trip in September when a hurricane and rain storms were forecast. We went thinking we'd get rained on the entire time. We only had rain one evening. The rest of the days started out cloudy and cleared off after lunch. It was great to go into the parks while they were not crowded:)
