What would you do on July 4th?

It will be day 9 of a 10 day trip for us, and that day will be just me and my 8 year old daughter (who is disabled and in a wheelchair), since my sister has to depart a few days early. We are staying WL CL.

I'm starting to really worry about how crowded MK will be. We have an ADR at california grill on the 3rd that will allow us to see the fireworks.

It's day 1 of 8 days for us. I think we might hang out at the resort then go late to HS for the fireworks. The parks will be crazy.

We have frequented Disney during July 4th too many times to count and we avoid the parks at all costs. We sleep in, have a late, character breakfast, swim at our resort and make reservations (well in advance) for dinner at a MK resort and watch the fireworks from there. It's a lot less stressful. Plan on having confirmation of your dinner reservation or you will not be permitted in...

We were there last July 4th. Yes it was packed, but not all day. Dinner time to fireworks was the worst. Park emptied out after them

If you've got a good FP plan, stick with it! Just don't plan to do much else but people watch and fireworks. Could be a great day!
