Sorry, got one of those rooms already. It is where my orange rocket currently resides. And it is about the most boring to decorate room ever!

Ok I am thinking about not trading the couch. I may want to try and collect them. So I will only trade it for:
another color rocket except magenta
seagull hat
green flips
inferno
(those are the only things I will trade it for just one of)
or a whole lot of good rare stuff!

perhaps inferno, it's really not worth a trade of a couple of everyday items.

IMHO, you should hold off for a really good offer if you decide to trade it.

Yep, that's what I decided. I'll only take inferno, green flips, or a seagull hat (maybe). I didn't realize how rare the orange couch was until after I made this thread

Well, I was lucky (and smart!) enough to stock up on Klondike Bars the weekend they were for sale. I have about 11. So I can trade you one for...how about a black pirate throne? NO, sorry, not worth the couch! I was offered that earlier in the thread. Again, since I have found out the true value of the couch, I am only taking the things I listed in one of my above posts (#7 to be exact). IOW, stuff no one has

And Wildtiger, maybe I can pack it in ice? But that will cost you TWO chairs; ice is expensive! I actually have never had the Klondike Bar, I just save them for trade value since they are retired and in high demand.

Awesome, Congrats! I would love to see it! I think it's my lack of decorating skills that makes the room boring to me. Or maybe b/c it's round and I like to put things against a flat wall....most of the space rooms I have seen other than trade rooms are about the same, like mine, just a circle of space furniture with some decor in the middle circle.

About best guest room....I think I asked this and either did not get an answer or forgot it (you know me!), but how do you get the best guest room award? Do you have to submit and say you want your room to be judged, or do staff just randomly room-hop and pick ones they like? If so, do they just go into the top rooms on the list (most popular)? Also, is the award only for rooms with a game or ride, or just a cool room? Like what do they judge on? And what is the award? And how often do they pick one? Sorry lots of questions

CL_disfaniam showed me the most awesome pirate cannon room she found that we all agreed (all being everyone in the room) should win. Not a game or anything, just a hang out, but the decorations and setup were AMAZING. I can't describe it so I won't try. I wish I had gotten a screen shot....

I don't know exactly how they pick Best Game room or Best Guest room...I think they look at what is on the popular list. My game was on the popular list a few days in a row. At some point a staff person came in and checked it out. They didn't say much. Now that isn't the only criteria, because many a cute or boot has been on the popular list. I guess it is how well the room is done, and is it different than what has been done before, and for games, maybe how good the game itself is.

It seems that best Game room includes Games or Rides, where best Guest room would be more of the hangout or trade type rooms.

The prize was a Best Game room pin, and I think a jungle cruise tent room (another one popped up on my list o' rooms).

I think they pick one every week.

I am well aware it's not inferno rare, and that probably no one would give me inferno for it. But there is as much of a point in saying I will trade for it, as there is in someone asking for it on a wish list, right?
