What would you do differently next trip?

I want to go with someone who actually enjoys it and is willing to try the different foods at Epcot WS (instead of whining about wanting hot dogs) and doesn't wish that a hole would open in the earth when we go on PotC for the 500th time and I sing along and yell at the pirates and who doesn't want to just nap and watch the Weather Channel back at the hotel.

And since we both live in beautiful (hot, rainy) CT, I think it would work!!!

PS: I sing LOUD!!!!

The one important thing i will do on my next trip is..... to not tell the relatives who live in Orlando that we are coming for our disney vacation. we will make a second trip to visit them. don't want to waste my time being shuttled around town to see "the sites" as they say.

Thanks for the warning! :thumbsup2

  • Take breaks... I swear I'm gonna really do it this time!!!

Send my son on the Pirate Adventure Cruise now that he's old enough.

Send my son to Simba's Clubhouse so I can enjoy some solo time in the parks (it really sounds like I want to get rid of him, huh???)

    Enjoy activities at AKL.

What is Simba clubhouse??

Next time (my 7th trip) I will definitely go to the WS for a very long time. Really see and do everything I want to. Spend hours and hours and hours! I also want to do all the attractions I haven't done yet because I've done mostly everything. I want to visit Rafiki's Planet Watch and many other things at AK. Spend less time at MGM & MK at first since I have basically toured those parks inside and out! Spend more time at DTD also. :)

I CAN'T WAIT!!

It's a kid's club (ie:childcare) -- I think Simba's is at AKLodge. My son has been to "Neverland" many times, it's the same thing but at the Poly. He LOVES it and begs to go at least once every trip.

They have dinner, watch movies, play video games and do crafts. He first went at age 6, but they take kids as young as 4 and up to 12. There are usually a good group of kids and they have a great time playing with their peers. After spending all week with just his parents he is thrilled to be there! And we enjoy a quiet dinner and time alone... usually in World Showcase (it's really nice when no one is "I'm so bored, Mom".

As for me...
Next time I go to Disneyworld I will:
-Stay on property
-Spend one day enjoying our Resort
-Watch the rest of the movies in Epcot (we've only seen 2)
-See "The Lion King" again
-Eat at Marrakesh
-Bring a female along, so I can do girl things like tea or a princess meal.

But first DH & I are going to Disneyland!! In just eight days!! :woohoo:

Hmm...there are sereral things that I would have liked to changed for our trip:

1. I would have wished to changed our transportation. Instead of Meers (waiting 30-60 minutes for our bus to arrive and an additional 1-1 1/2 hours to get to our hotel was tiresome.) This time, we're going to use a towncar.

2. Buying our stuff before we were at Florida. Bringing a twelve pack of bottled water with our snacks was extremely heavy to lug around. That's part of the reason why we're going to use a towncar service so we can stop at Target for our supplies.

3. Saving $$$ for our trip. We only had $700 to our name to last us a week for our honeymoon. We couldn't buy real suvineers for each other or go a bit crazy on our trip.

4. Staying at the park longer. I wanted to spend more time at the park so we could have a chance to relax and explore all of the park. We only had seven days.

I'm sure there are a lot more but I just cannot think right now.

Are we married to the same man???!!!!!!
Maybe we should vacation together and let them watch TV, I have no problem going on pirates again and again!
