Okay, I had all my PS figured out until I started reading the post today about Whispering Canyon Cafe. I have a 2 and 5 year old. What would they perfer Whispering Canyon or Olivia's Cafe? How is the food at both? It sounds like they would love Whispering Canyon and the menu looks good. :confused3 I don't know what I should do? Help. I was already stressed about calling this Sunday for Cinderella.

for the kids, hands down Wispering Canyon. Olivias is a nice place, great ravioli, but WC is loads of fun.

Stacy has it right....hands down!

Another thumbs up for WCC. Great time for everyone lots of fun!

Definitely Whispering Canyon!!! They will love the stick horse race, the coloring pages they give the kids of all ages to color and the antics of the servers! We had breakfast there the other day, and had a blast! Also, make sure to ask for the ketchup!

ditto for whispering canyons. they will enjoy the atmosphere very much.

Atmosphere at WCC - Good to very good depending on server and time of day
Food at WCC - Found it mediocre and a bit bland
One other thing to think about: do your kids like crowds and loud people talking to them? If so, then take a chance. If they have some aversions to having a server speak really loudly to them, other servers yelling at the top of their lungs, people dancing in the aisles, and mild teasing, you might want to take a pass. WCC is loads of fun to be sure, but I have seen some rather upset kids in there before because they simply were overwhelmed by the atmosphere. Just a thought. :earsboy:

I haven't been to Whispering Canyon yet, but I wasn't all that impressed with Olivia's. Granted, we ate there pretty late one night...but the place was deserted & we still didn't have good service. The food wasn't anything great either. Maybe we caught it at an "off" time.....but I don't think I'll be rushing back there anytime soon.

My son keeps asking when we can return to WCC. The food was good, not superb; but the activities and antics make the restaurant if you have kids. Now that my son had the "ketchup trick" played on him, he wants to invite some poor, unsuspecting soul with us and have them request some ketchup. He is his mother's boy...makes me proud...ha-ha! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

WC for us too. Olivia's is OK but cannot compare to WC for adults and kids. My DH and I went there for my birthday - no kids - and still had a great time.
