Can't decide what to do!! Which would u choose. They would cost they same. 7 days at AKL club level or split stay 3days POR with 4days Beach club club level . I am not crazy about split stay. Thanks for any input.

(Trish hears the record-scratch sound effect in her head and stops reading right there.)

Okay, look. Methinks if I ever had the opportunity to stay club level at AKL, I'd be on that like... a thing that leaps rapidly onto other things. You get CRAZY exclusive benefits (see here) that you'd be out of your mind to pass up. Do it. DOOO EEEEIT!!! :rotfl:

We were planning on staying at AKL last year but had some car troubles and cut our budget down and stayed at All Star Movies for the second year in a row. We were gonna try to go back to AKL this year but they weren't running any specials. Hope to soon though!

We have stayed at the AKL Club level and Beach Club - Club level. We have also experience in doing split stays that allowed us to explore some deluxes we wanted to try but had some doubts about at the same time. We no longer do split stays as we prefer to stay at one Disney resort. Packing and moving is not an issue. It can provide a new feel if you are staying for an extended period of time. We did not care for the transfer day which is an unknown to when you may get your 2nd resort room. Staying at one resort provided us a vacation experience we preferred over the spilt resort experience. Both of these resort clubs were good experiences. Prefer the BC due to its location next to DS, Boardwalk and Epcot. Easy to take a break from DS or Epcot and swim at SAB and club offerings. International entrance at Epcot is a walk thru due to the absence of lines. AKL for us was a little out of the way and time on Disney property adds up.

We too are not crazy about split stays. We've stayed club level at the BC which was great and we love that resort, but we've also stayed at the AKL, not club there but savannah view, in my opinion, I would stay the entire week at AKL club level. AKL is a gorgeous resort and I don't think you would be disappointed. Good Luck with your decision!

Another vote for AKL.
While I love the pool at BC, I would pick AKL over BC with a split stay.

Although I prefer to stay in one place, split stays aren't that bad. However I would probably not opt to do a split stay between a moderate and a deluxe. I would rather spend the entire stay in a deluxe. I would choose to spend my entire trip at AK.

I have stayed at both BC and AKL. BC's location can't be beat, but my vote is for AKL, primarily because of the excellent food choices and the fact that you won't have to change resorts. There is plenty to do at the resort with its beautiful lobby and common areas, unique gift shop and, of course, the animal viewing areas.

I would do the split stay 3 days POR with 4 days Beach club club level ... I love being able to walk to Epcot and DHS and the boat from POR to DTD is great. for me, AK is a 1/2 to 3/4 day park at most. the rest of the time we're at Epcot, DHS or the MK.

I'd go for 7 days at the BC with no club level. We've stayed cl at all of the deluxe resorts and it's really not that special. We kept trying it to see of any of them offered super superb service. The only one that came close was the Grand FLoridian Royal Palm Court.
Are you familiar with the club level at the BC? The cl room is smallish and the food offerings are blah. AKL has a better club level but then it's far from everything. I like the idea of BC because you can walk or boat to Epcto and DHS. There's fun stuff to do as well.

No I am not familiar with any club experience. We aren't eligible for the dining plan, so I thought that for the four of us the club upgrade of 125 a day we would be worth it. Maybe only pay for our lunches? Idk. Now you have me second guessing.lol!

Basically, there are Danishes, rolls, fruit, and cereal for breakfast, snacks-chips, fish crackers, crustables, etc. for lunch, dinner might have a hot dish, some cheeses, crackers, etc. The only spread that you can really make a meal is breakfast.
I hate to have you second guessing but I'd hate more for you to arrive and expect to have 3 meals a day as part of club level. In the past, there was more food. We're not big eaters at all and my daughter has laughingly said about the "dinner" offerings, "Ok, we're done with the appetizers, where's the meal?"
