I know this is a weird question but there is a guy that I work with a couple times a week that has developed a disgusting odor in the last couple months. He is a super nice man and I know it isn't a hygiene issue. He is probably about 50 years old but looks much older. I would hate to ask him because he would be humiliated. He considers me a friend, therefore, when he comes up to talk to me I have to try not to breathe. I was wondering if it could be a medicine he is on for something or some kind of disease that would create the smell? It's not that I have a sensitive sense of smell because I am always congested there(it's at a newspaper with lots of dust) and others talk about it when he isn't around. If anyone knows what this could be, let me know. I realize there's nothing I can do about it but I'm curious.

OP, I don't know but you are alot more tolerant of it than I would be. I suggest bringing in a cat, let nature take its course and maybe he'll get the hint
