If you could have any job at Disney what would you do? I doesn't have to be a job that exists but it would be more fun if we stuck to thinks that Disney would have a real need for. (Like you could combine several jobs to do different pieces)

I am a software engineer so my dream job would be to work on the rides and attractions with the programming of everything, or even on the website. But I would only do that half time the other half I would want to work in the parks. I would want to work as a character (Belle maybe) but since I'm overweight I wouldn't actually be able to do that so I would probably just work as a handler or in the stores.

What would you want to do?

This is a real position and I am working on having the proper resume for it!
Safety and Health.
that is an actual position! It is right up my ally!

I'm assuming safety and health is working in the first aid centers?

What type of quality control (food, rides, something else??)

My DH just answered and he said he would want to be one of the tour guides.

*Doing voiceovers for some of the 'Toons (probably Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Evil Queen, Old Hag, Mickey Mouse plus a few others).
*Getting to work with a certain great guy I know who's in a Disney Channel show right now.

agnes!

no, it is considered QC and OSHA qualifications, QC and safety in the over all way of food, industrial structures etc. Which I am associated with Board of health...and HACCP. So it could range in a whole lot of different fields, and can be very confusing. I am covered in both areas of building and food codes etc...

Since I get to pick, I will go right to the top and be CEO!;)

I am not sure what I would like to do but Dh has said he would like to run one of the boats...

DD is starting her dream job at WDW next week in Imagineering.

I"d love to be a ride attendent for the Haunted Mansion, nice and cool in there. But not Small World

DH has hopes of driving one of their buses or the monorail when he retires. He is really good with people so I can see him doing that. I am better with animals than I am with people so I would love to work with the animals in AK. No legless critters though :scared1: I like lizards and I like furry animals and don't even mind bugs. I am just afraid of snakes. I would never harm one but I don't want to be in the same room as one. The other option, like hereyago said, would be working in the Living Seas.

DH and I joke that we'd like to work at WDW when we retire as part-timers. I think I would enjoy being a Disney Photographer or do some sort of programming part-time or even do low-level user security for systems - setting people up, handling problems with access - behind the scenes (as a retiree, I mean), especially if it were only 15 - 30 hours a week.

I would like to be in charge of planning all of the kids menus in all of the resturants.

Right now, general counsel. In the future, when I retire, I would like to be a CM in charge of a character meet-and-greet, preferably in Epcot.

graphic designer.

i came close!! a friend of a friend was a designer (and grad of the college i went to) and gave me a little interview behind the scenes at MGM in '99. i was fresh out of college by like 2 weeks, no "work" experience, so i wasn't considered for it. grrr

anyways, my friend got to come along also and he gave us a tour of the area. it was beyond the coolest thing i've ever seen! i got to see a room where they had all of the hotel stuff...like bathroom items...tons of other stuff...a designer was also working on something pooh related on his big (for the time) mac.

our favorite part...the people on the walking tour...we were the people they were seeing by the animation desks...back when they had artists in there. not many people can say they were being watched while on tour!

i've long forgotten the guy's name, but i do remember seeing it in the credits of pocahantas.

sigh...wish i could have that job now.
