What would be the best week to go?

Sorry, not sure where to put this one.

I am looking at the time frame of January 14th - February 17th.

I would like to go 7 days (a Sunday - Saturday). Me, DH, and 2 DD (4 and 7).

I want to avoid crowds at the attractions and would like to avoid lots of people at the value resorts (ie cheer compeitions).

Any thoughts one which week might be best?

I am going the week of January 21. We avoid the Marathon this week and the MLK Holiday. I am hoping it works out well. I was there a few years ago over MLK Holiday. There was no crowd increase. Of course it was 1/02 right after 9/11 and there were probably no crowds anywhere.

End of January would be best. Stay away from mid-February.

The Tuesday or Wednesday after Marathon Weekend it usually clears out and slows down. The MLK weekend gets busy again, but usually just for that weekend.

If you avoid those times, you'll probably be OK otherwise.

A few years back, we went nearer to the end of January...like the 23rd-31st or so...and had the most perfect weather, low crowds...it was one of our best trips.
